    Sun shone into the cave, waking the black cat. 2 blue eyes popped open, and the black fur shifted. Fadinghalo erupted in a yawn. She arched into a stretch and sighed. The air outside was crisp, but the sun was very warm. Stepping outside of the den, she squished her paws into the around. The floor was wet, and it soaked into her paws. Purring with approval, the black she set out to find Coralstar. "Coralstar? Can I lead a hunting patrol?" Fadinghalo called.

    Fadinghalo spotted the leader a fox-length away from herself. Creeping up slowly, Fadinghalo called, "Coarstar? There you are! Am I allowed to go hunting? I can take a patrol if you wish." Fadinghalo fluffed her tail as she waited for an answer. Then she turned to Shiningdream, "I can take you too."

    Shiningdream nodded, watching a beetle fly past her face. It looked so slow as if it was just hovering there forever. Forgetting what she was doing Shiningdream followed the beetle around in circles.


    Galaxywing bounced up and down hyperly, when her paws touched the ground she slipped on a bit of mud and sprawled out on her side.

    Shiningdream and Galaxywing padded after Fadinghalo in almost synchronized movements. They both looked around the jungle as they headed toward the shore. The only difference between them being Shiningdream slightly lagging behind.

    Fadinghalo stopped abruptly. She headed over to the Tide Pool. "Everyone, quiet," She whispered sternly. Fadinghalo waited a few seconds. Nothing. She flicked her tail impatiently. Suddenly, her paw sliced out and a fish flew out of the water. It flopped for a moment, then it stopped. Fadinghalo padded over and observed the fish. "Looks like we're in for a treat," She smiled, "Cat Fish season has officially begun."

    Galaxywing watched happily, peering into the tide pool. She was completely silent as she waited for a fish to pass by.


    Shiningdream sat by the water's edge, not paying attention to anything but a curious looking starfish. It was a beautiful azure blue and it's arms stretched at least a mouse length long. It was a small thing but still very intriguing. It's movements were slow as it slid to the bottom of the coral it was latched to. She reached her paw in the water and nudged the starfish along.


    Galaxywing huffed. "Shiningdream! You scared away the fish I was going to get!"

It flopped but then it stopped. Fadinghalo inspected the fish. "Yep, Cat Fish season is differently ready."
