    Why was it, that everybody had to always be talking to him? Why couldn't anybody leave him alone? Rising to his paws, the tall, long-legged Serval strolled toward the lizard, his large amber eyes tired, but lit with a faint glow of curiosity. This was... Javerio; that lizard that he had just met! However, Conrad's tone remained somber as he spoke. "Ya? What do you want..." he grumbled, still a bit rattled by Lamia's death.

    A slight snarl crossed the large cats muzzle as he lashed his long tail back and forth. "What does it matter to you?" Conrad snapped harshly, amber eyes narrowed to small slits.

    Letting out a loud screech, Conrad snapped his head down, clamping down on the tail of the lizard. In a manner of second, he flung the smaller creature sideways, against a hard rock. Snarling, the Serval lashed it tail once again. "You know nothing about my pain!" he yowled.

    The anger in the eyes of Conrad faded as he slumped to the ground, falling silent for a few moments. He then looked back up at Javiero, whimpering. "I- I'm sorry..." the trainee murmured.
