Lionhearted meets Rainflower

    "She just needs a good rest i think she will be fine" Lionhearted said stepping back so his pelt would brush Rainflowers

    Rainflower shook her head and laid down next to elder


    Lakemist smiled "My kit my kit my time has come to and end but your life is a head of you and i hope you spend it with this tom here"


    Rainflower shook her head "no no no Lakemist dont leave me"


    Adderfang laid down next to his mom and sister
    "lakemist what happened?"


    Lakemist sighed "I got away but the elite found me right out side of theor border and attacked me and now i a m here with you"


    Adderfang smiled "You did well"


    Rainflower sighed and licked her moms cheek "I will miss you"


    Lakemist nodded weakly and closed her eyes her breathing slowed


    Rainflower closed her eyes tightly and pushed her nose into her mothers pelt "Good bye Lakemist"


    Adderfang did the same "I love you"


    Lakemist manged one last sentence "I-I L-lo-love y-you b-both"


    Rainflower smiled "I love you too Lakemist"


    Lakemist took her last breath and closed her eyes


    Rainflower sighed and started to cry


    Adderfang was speechless he pushed his nose deeper into her pelt "Goodbye my mother"

    Lionhearted surprisingly gentle walked up to Rainflower and whispered "Everything will be fine she is with Star Clan now she will have peace"

    Rainflower didnt hear him she was in shock "Lakemist...."


    Adderfang looked at both of them and sighed

    Lionhearted pressed his muzzle against hers and whispered again softly and gently "Everything will be fine she has peace in Starclan"

    Lionhearted licked Rainflowers ear "Do you need anything? Food Water?" he asked softly

    Rainflower shook her head "no"


    Adderfang picked up his mothers limp body and carried her to the meadow where they where born he buried her next to her still born kits "Good bye my mother" he said quietly before walking back to camp

    Lionhearted sighed and asked "Want to be my Mate Rainflower?" he was always self centered to proud and to brave mostly arrogant but for some reason he was gentle and sweet when he was near Rainflower

    Lionhearted licked her head gently, it sounded like a soft gentle wave lapping at the shore. He knew how it felt like to lose a sibling and he had also been sad. So he was sympathetic

    Rainflower looked up at him "i am not a kit" she snapped and regretted it instantly "sorry. youve been kind to me but no thanks"

    Lionhearted took no offence of her snapping at him "Its alright i understand." he meowed so soft

    Rainflower sighed and walked to the camp once inside she walked into the warriors den and laid down in her nest
