  • Some people live completely different lives, some propel are rich, poor, famous, nobody's, happy, depressed, and other opposite living styles. When the two come together, either all hell breaks loose, or new worlds can be put together...

    Violet Elle Taffner

~Plot~ Your boy lives in a large house in a rich city. My girl lives in a regular small apartment with her father. Our parents work together in a large company, or rather, your parents own the company, and her father is an assistant there for your parents. One day, they have to leave for a large business order, and they decided to have their two teenagers stay together in your boys large house rather than them stay alone for a month. At first they hate each other, both being very different from one another, but soon enough, they become friends and then more than that.

IC: Violet kept her eyes out the window, headphones in her ears and music drowning out the world she was desperate to escape. The trees had begun to thin out and be replaced by buildings and small shops. The place her Father was taking her to stay for the long month ahead was a complete change from where she lived. After a few long moments of silence between the two, they had finally pulled into a smoothly paved driveway. Hesitating, she gripped the black handle and opened the door, stepped out into the hot weather. Gazing up at the house with her light golden brown eyes, she liked over the four story mansion like home. The light brown paint, not even chipped, with darker brown shutters. Her fathers door shutting caused her to jump and look away from the home. Shutting her side of the door, she walked over tithe trunck, opening it with ease. Pulling out two suitcases that were plain black, she sighed deeply and glanced back over at her father. "Do I have to stay here?" She said with a slight whine in her tone. He said nothin and just have her a seen look, which she new meant be polite. Once they walked up to the door, Violet held her breath and looked down at her feet, not eager to meet the people she would be staying with, or rather their son.

Violet was used to the open fields and the farms every mile. Public school, and the closest mall an hour away. Here, it was like the city's she saw in movies with famous people, and she wasn't excited to be staying here really. Abviously whiter theses people were, they were a lot richer than her and her father, so she assumed they were a stuck up family with a son who got whatever he wanted. Although she could be wrong, but she doubted it. One things she knew, was that it was goin to be a long month...

OOC: Please have at least three full sentences per post. Have proper grammar and be literate, also post a picture of your boy! Thank you! :)

I was sitting on my windowsill, my earphones in as my music was blaring. I looked down to see a disgusting, ugly car in my driveway. I knew that this girl was to be staying at my house for a month, I wasn't complaining. I would probably barely even see her anyway, this was a big house. I watched them get out of their car and I smirked. I hugged my knees to my chest and sighed, hoping that this girl wasn't going to be a nuisance. I wasn't a very good people person, and I usually never got along with anyone. I blamed my parents for giving me my awful personality. I looked down at my iPod and turned the music up even louder, so that I couldn't hear anything going on. I got off my windowsill and went over to my dresser where I grabbed my purple hair brush and used it as a microphone as I sang to a Sleeping With Sirens song. I walked over to my closet, which had mirrors for doors and watched myself sing. I had a smile on my face as I screamed out the lyrics, probably sounding like a dying cat, but I couldn't give a rat's ass about it.

I wasn't expecting much from this girl, but I knew that I was going to have to talk to her at some points in time to lay down my rules. My mind started wandering off to a different girl, who I had met in my private school plus I've known her since I was a child. I started singing even louder, probably the whole house could sing it. I was singing this song for her, but I knew she would never hear it and that didn't bother me at all. Then my mind went to this poor girl who was staying at my house for a month. I really didn't want her bothering me while she stayed here, or I might just kick her out to the streets where she belongs. I wouldn't care if I got in trouble, my parents would probably just take away my allowance for a week. I restarted the song over and began to sing as loud as possible, once again.

  • Violet kept her eyes on her dark blue converse as they now stood by the door of the large house. A Falling in reverse song came on as soon as her father rang the doorbell, the song causing her to grin slightly. Humming quietly to herself, she slowly looked up as a neat and well put together man and woman showed up at the door. They all greeted each other, but it wasn't exactly a warming welcome, it was more of an awkward meeting. Shutting the door behind her, she turned down the volume on her IPod slightly, the same song still ringingthrough her ears. As her father and the two parents spoke about their plans for the month ahead. A few short moments later, she heard other singing, and it wasn't way she was listening to. Pulling out one of her headphones, she narrowed her eyes and tried to identify the song. Shiver was so if abviously wasn't worried about who had heard him considering it was very loud. Setting the headphone back into her ear, she started to take in the surroundings. Violet realized how fancy the house looked on the inside, expensive decor, polished and dusted furnture. It was 10x fancier than her two bedroom small ranch home she shared with her father.

Her dad finished speaking with the couple and came up to her, telling her that they would be leaving soon. Her two bags were at her sides as she said nothin and nodded her understandment. She wasn't looking forward to staying here, especially with some random boy she had never met before, the one who she heard singing. Biting down on her lip to keep from saying something that might upset her father, or defend his bosses, she said nothing.

  • I knew my parents would be annoyed by my loud singing, or screaming. The song changed to a Chiodos song, and I went over and hooked my iPod into the speakers, and turned up the music real loud. I held onto my hair brush as I sang into it. I watched myself in the mirror, sticking a hand out towards my reflection. I turned away and headed over to the window and looked out it, towards the sky. When I was in my big room, by myself I liked to pretend I was in a music video. I put a hand on my wall, which was full of lyrics. All my walls in my room where scribbled on with lyrics. A knock came on my door, and I turned around chucking my hair brush at the door. It made a loud bang and I chuckled. There was no knocking after that. I sat on the windowsill, staring at my door.

  • Violet watched the man and woman head out of the enterance too. And upstairs to bid their farewell to their son. She heard the music that was now blarin through the house. Turnin to her father, he gave her a small smile and sighed lightly. "Remeber, don't be rude, respect their son and the house, please." He begged her with pleading eyes. Violet sighed and rolled her eyes, noddin her head slowly. "I know, you've told me only about fifteen times." She groaned crossing her arms over her chest. He just nodded his head and turned around as his bosses came back downstaires, they explained a few things to her about the house before she hugged her father goodbye. Giving the other two a polite curt nod she watched as the three walked outside, closin the door behind them. Lookin out the window, Violet watched her father leave, along with the boys parents. Letting out a frustrated sigh, she propped her elbow on the windowsill and rested her head in her hand, watching the car pull out of the driveway and disappear in the distance.

The next song that had begun to play was King For a Day by pierce the veil, one of her personal favorites. Turning it up so she couldn't hear the other blaring music begging played from somewhere else in the house, she frowned and shook her head. Her father had really left, left her in this place with some boy she still has never seen. Violet thought about leaving and taking a walk, but she couldn't help but be slightly worried she might not find her way back to the large house.

  • I sighed, my stomach rumbling. I opened my door after I had seen my parents leave with that girl's father and went downstairs. When I made it down the stairs I saw the girl at the window and grumbled to myself. I walked across the room, and to another door where I quietly slipped into it. I sat down at the island and asked our maid, Madeline if she could make me something. "Of course." She gave me a smile, and I put my head against the cold surface of the island. "You know you are going to have to show that girl around, and what not." I let out a frustrated sigh and nodded. "I don't know, I kind of like the idea of her getting lost in here." I chuckled, but quickly stopped as Maddie gave me a glare. "Sorry." I sat up, putting up my hands in surrender.

  • Violet had just barley heard the sound of footsteps behind her with the music in her ears. She didnt turn around to acknowledge the person who she figured was the boy, nor did she bother to turn down the music in case he tried to speak to her, but she highly doubted it. Of course she still had the same thought in her head, he was just a spoiled little rich boy who cared about nothing but himself, never having to work a day in his life. And she didnt plan on getting to know him, nor interact a lot while she stayed here. If he stayed out of her way, she would stay out of his. The lit of her stomach dropped when she realized how long she would be staying here, a while thirty days in a place that was completely different from where she lived. After a long moment, she turned around to see nobody there, smiling to herself she pulled out her headphones turning off the devices and slipping it into her back pocket. Crossin her arms over her chest, she tore her eyes away from the window and heard slight chatter a few rooms away, so he wasn't alone?

Making her way toward the talking, she held her breath as it got closer. Soon enough she entered a large and neat kitchen, something more fancy than the one she had at her home. Seeing a boy around her age and a woman much older then them talking, she stood in the doorway quietly, wondering if she should go back into the entrance room, at least there it wasn't as awkward.

  • Madeline looked over at Violet and gave a smile. "Hello dear, would you like anything to eat?" She asked, pulling out some milk from the big and shiny fridge. She poured a glass, and handed it to me. I took a sip of it, not turning around to look at the girl. "You don't have to wait on her, she's a no one, Maddie." I chuckled, as Madeline smacked the back of my head. I straightened out my hunter's hat on my head and flipped my hair. "Maddie, you're going to mess up my hair." I pouted as I watched her go back over to the fridge to get out some eggs. "What hair? It's always covered by that special hat of yours." I stuck out my tongue and drank some more of my milk.

I turned around on my stool to look at the girl, I gave her a cocky smile. "Oh, wait, is this another maid?" I asked, as I looked at her up and down. "Maddie, I didn't know my father called for another desperate g-" Again I was smack on the back of my head, and I felt my chin it my chest. I quickly tried to fix my hair and sighed. "Names Joshua." I shrugged, turning back around in my stool. She wasn't as pretty as most girls I see at my school, but then again she was a poor person. "Oi, Maddie, could I throw a party tonight?" I asked, and Madeline let out a annoyed sigh. A smile appeared on my face, I just loved to annoy her. "I don't care." She rolled her eyes.

  • Violet returned a small soft smile at the lady who stood in the kitchen. When she asked her if she needed anything to drink, Violet just shook her head slowly. "No thank you Ma'am." She replied quietly and narrowed her eyes slightly at the boys comment. "You won't have a problem waiting on me, I know how to take care of myself and get things on my own unlike some people." She snapped and quickly looked away, biting down in her tongue. Remembering her promise with her father that she would be rude, she held back another comment she had planted in her head. Though it was hard not to say anything. Her prediction about this boy, Joshua was right so far. So she knew that this was going to he a very frustrating month.

Violet felt her face flush a deep red as the boy made another rude remark. Violet forced herself not to say anything at the moment that she would regret. Her eyes scanned over Joshua as he turned on the stool and faced her. Taking in us features and posture, she would have though he was nice, by the way he looked. But as soon as he opened his mouth it was a different story. Gripping the handle on one of her bags, she brought her gaze back on the ground. Violet desperately wished to be back at home in her quiet small town, at least there she wasn't around people who annoyed her.

  • "Alright, well can you ask Mr. Right to call all my friends and tell them I'm having a party? Thanks." I gave a thumbs up to Maddie, and she gave me a smile. I walked past Violet, slamming into her shoulder as I passed. I quickly made it back into my room, slamming my door. Madeline gave an apologetic smile to Violet. "I'm sorry about him, he's not very friendly." She sighed, putting a hand on her cheek. While she cooked, she sang.

  • As the boy addressed the lady to call his friends Violet frowned slightly. If his friends that wer coming over anything like him, she would probably want to hide away somewhere, which was what she planned on doing. Besides, it was obvious she would have to show herself around town, and tonight might be the perfect night to do so. Although she wasn't sure what kind of crazy people walked around these streets at night, so she might have to raincheck on tonight. As Joshua walked by and pushed passed her shoulder, she stumbled a few steps back and let out an annoyed huff. Glaring at the back of his head she turned back to Maddie, she remembered who had have her a reassuring smile. "Ive noticed..." She muttered, quietly so she couldn't hear. Violet heard the boys door slam shut in the distance and not soon after the lady had begun to sing as she cooked super.

Leaning against the wall, Violet checked her phone to see three new messages. They were all from her best friend, her only friend from back at home. Quickly reading the messages they were all the same. "Is the boy cute?" "How's everything going?" "Call me as soon as your there." But she ignored them all and slid the phone away into the small pouch in one of her bags. She wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone at the moment, not even her nest friend.

  • "See I was just over 17..." I whispered, pulling at my bracelets a bit. "Made of poison, cave in free. Oh no, please don't abandon me..." I slid down my door until I was sitting on my butt. I turned my head to see myself in the mirror and I sighed. "Mother, Father, I love you so, but this is just me disguised as me. I'm the killer who burned your home." I picked up my hairbrush from the floor and twirled it in my hand. I wasn't real excited about the party I was going to have, I just needed it. I needed the people around so I didn't feel all that alone. I took of my hat, and started to brush my hair. "I can not spend another night in this home." I screamed, standing up and pulling at my hair. I absolutely loved this song, and I felt I sang it pretty well. I walked over to my window and opened it, sitting on the edge and looking at the ground.

I wondered about the girl, and what she would do with all the rich folks coming over tonight. I felt a bit worried for her, but I quickly pushed that feeling aside. She was a nobody, and she sure as hell wasn't my responsibility. "With Heaven above you, there's hell over me." I sighed.

"He really does have a wonderful singing voice." Madeline commented, the acoustics in this giant house was amazing. You could hear a lot of things going on. "I know its hard, but who are you to fall apart on me?" Madeline smiled as she heard him sing and finished cooking some eggs. She pulled out some plates and put the food onto them. "He likes to sing out his feelings, though he doesn't know that. "I say that he's turned into the person he is from his parents. They are always working and he's always alone. He's also been kicked out of two private schools, and is failing some classes. He's a bit upset with the world, my dear." Madeline told her as she gave a soft smile. "Doesn't feel good enough for this family, I suppose." She shrugged.

  • Violet soon heard Joshua's singing over Maddies, who soon stopped when she heard him as well. Listening to the lyrics, she didnt recognize the song, but it didnt sound that bad. Violet nodded her head in agreement with the lady, as much as she didnt want to admit it, he did have a pretty good voice. When Maddie had told her a small run through of what he seemed to be going through, Violet thought for a moment. Of course, everyone dealt with their problems in different ways, and she realized that this must have been his way of doing so. Music was her world, as much as it seemed to be Joshua's. Violets mom has been in and out of jail, she had ever since she have birth to Violet. She would come and go in and out of her life, and it got tiring, so her father had cut all connection with her to the family. So she hasn't heard from her mother in over two years, but she didnt care anymore. Although she would hate to have both parents, but them never be around, and she wasn't sure how the boy coped with that. At school Violet didnt have many friends, mainly because she wasn't like everyone else. She listened to the wrong music, wore the wrong clothes, didnt think the same as the others, and because of that she wasn't accepted. But it doesn't matter, just like he had said, she was a nobody.

Viole felt slightly bad for Joshua, although she was still pissed him from earlier. She watched as Maddie plated some food, and she kept listening to the singing coming from the distance. Bitin her lip, she played with one of the strings that was on her unzipped sweater. There was still nothing good coming out of this, from stayin here. At least, not that she could see of.

  • "Do you want any food?" Madeline asked as she gave a smile to Violet. Soon another man came in and sighed, sitting at the island and taking a plate of the eggs. "Just an eggs?" The man asked, looking at Madeline. She put a hand on her hip and gave him a glare and he quickly shut his mouth. "We don't have much food, Josh needs to go to the store. Usually shopping is my job, but he needs to get out of this house as much as he can." The man nodded his head, eating his food. "Oh, Violet this is the Mr. Right. Oh and deary, Josh wanted to have a party and asked if you could inform all his friends." Again, the man nodded and Madeline gave a smile. "Violet, if it isn't to much could you go and get Joshua and you to could go pick up some food?" She didn't wait for an answer, "His room is up the stairs, down the left hallway and the third door on the right."

I stared at the ground, wondering what would happen if I just jumped out of my window. I'd probably break my legs, which is not the answer I wanted. I started to brush my hair again as I started to sing a different song. "Father, Father, tell me where have you been? Its been hell not having you here. I've been missing you so bad. And you don't seem to care. When I go to sleep at night. You're not there." I sighed, "When I go to sleep at night, do you care? Do you even miss us, your bottles and mistress..."

  • Violet shook her head slowly and smiled slightly. "No thank you." She said politely and turned her head when she heard footsteps again, Seeing an older man sit down. Maddie had introduced her to Mr. Right, and Violet gave him a soft smile and a curt nod. Soon after she had been asked to get Joshua, she felt it was too rude to decline, so she held ina sigh and forced another smile. "Of course." She said quietly and listened to her directions to his room. Slipping out of the kitchen and up the satires, she walked slowly and quietly, not wanting to interact with the boy again. Once she reached the top if the satires, she stood there for a moment, looking down the left hallway. Sighing deeply, Violet pushed herself down the hall and to the third door on the right side of the hall. Standing there, she just stared at the door, not moving and holding her breath. She heard him singing and she kept listening for a moment, he was a good singer, and his taste in music was pretty good. Rollin her eyes at herself she hesitantly lifted her fist and gently knocked on the door twice. "... Hello?" Violet murmured, that way he knew it was her.

The last thing she wanted to do was see this kid again, she would have much rather preferred him to go in the store on his own, why did she have to go as well? Violet was going to make sure that her father got his share of her anger when they met again. Putting he arm back down at her side, she stood a few inches away from the door, not taking her eyes away from it. She secretly hoped he would ignore her and not answer the door, but she wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly what he did.

  • I heard the girl's voice and I stopped singing. Everything went quiet, and I could hear the birds outside chirping. I debated on whether ignoring her or letting her come in. What did she even want? My curiosity got the better of me and I called, "Yeah, come in." I didn't move from my spot, as I held onto the windowsill edge and stared down at the flowers on the ground. They were quite pretty flowers, and I much enjoyed looking at them. I kicked my legs back and forth as my feet hit the side of the house. I watched out in the street as cars drove past my awful luxurious house. "Is this what you call a family..." I whispered, shaking my head as that part of the song went through my head.

  • Violet brought her hand up to the cold black door handle. Gripping it tightly she slowly turned it and opened the door. It slid open with ease, no creak or slit sound. Her eyes landed on the wall that had lyrics written across it, staring at it for a moment, Violet read over a couple of them before looking at Joshua who sat on the windowsill. His back to her, her eyes drifted around the rest of the room as she spoke to him. "The woman downstairs, Maddie, wants us to go to the store and pick up some food." She stated quietly before looking back at the boy. He seemed like the kind of person who kept things to himself, she was able to tell by the way he seemed to lock himself in his room and get lost in music. Letting to of the door handle, Violet stood in the doorway waiting for the boys response. Running a hand through her brown hair again nervously, she rocked on her heels. The only good thing coming out of going to the store, was that she could get a better view of the town, so she could at least get out of this house once in a while.

  • I sighed, turning around and getting off the windowsill. I slammed the window shut and grumbled to myself. "Well let's go then." I grabbed onto my hat which was on the floor and threw my hair brush onto the bed. I pulled my hat on and flipped my hair. I carefully pushed her out of the way, and shut my bedroom door behind me. I quickly made my way down the stairs and towards the exit. Mr. Right grabbed onto my shoulder, turning me around and handing me a list of things I needed to get. "I'll make those calls for the party right now, sir." I nodded to him as I turned and open the doors and made my way out of the house. I didn't wait for the girl, I didn't really even want to be around her. What will my friends say if they see me walking around with some poor girl? That might be a little embarrassing.

  • Violet frowned as he pushed passed her, shutting the door and makin his way downstaires. It was clear that he wasn't going to wait for her, that he didnt want anything to do with her. But she didnt care, she felt the same why so why did it matter? Skipping down the staires and back into the kitchen, she watched as the man handed Joshua a paper. Glancing back at the two others once more, she made her way outside. Violet expected the fresh air, with the open fields and wild animals roaming around. But instead she was opened to car horns and the smell of gas in the air, there probably want a wild animal within miles of this place. "Screwed up city." She muttered under her breath. Where she lived, it was the middle if nowhere and there were only back roads by her house. She spent most of her time outside, and here, she would rather be inside. Her feet made quiet slaps against the smoothly paved sidewalk and the sun bid behind a large cloud.

  • "The city is much prettier at night." I told her, walking at a good pace. I sighed, putting my hands in my pockets. The store was a couple blocks away from my house, but I never mind walking. "What was your name, you never told me it." I turned to look back at her, a curious glint in my eyes. I expected some ugly name, like I've heard most poor people have. I turned my attention back to the girl that was walking towards us in shorts and a tank top, she gave me a smile and I winked at her. "I'm coming to your party tonight." She told me, as she stopped and kissed my cheek. I nodded my head and did a little kissy face. "I'll see you at my house then, love." She looked behind me and saw Violet and gave a disgusted expression. "Do you have a stalker or something?" My friend asked as she looked from me to Violet. "She's a nobody, don't mind her. Just a lost commoner." She gave me a smile and nodded, walking past us and down the street. I continued on my way to the store, my thoughts on how the poor girl would react. I chuckled quietly to myself.
