    Ashpaw looked in his eyes, searching for humor. There was none. She was slightly taken aback by his offer, yet she was too curious. Ashaw cracked an wide grin as she replied. "Yes..." She meowed quietly

    Stormheart smiled coldly. "Good. Now, it's almost evening. Go to sleep early, and Wavewing and I will meet you in the Dark Forest. Let's go, Wavewing."

    Stormheart closed his eyes, and immediately woke up in the Dark Forest. He smiled and flexed his claws in the grass. He sat down and waited for Ashpaw and Wavewing. When they finally appeared Stormheart said, "Come on. I need to assess both of you. Currently, you are both apprentices in the Dark Forest. If you prove to be a great fighter, you will get your warrior name. Since you are now Dark Forest apprentices, you will get new names for your new Clan." He turned to Ashpaw. "Ashpaw, your new name is Mistpaw." Then he turned to Wavewing. "Wavewing, you're new name is ... Ravenpaw." he purred. "I have chosen to keep my name, since my father was one of the elite warriors in the Dark Forest, and he gave me the name."

    Mistpaw paw's figeted with excitmnent. She smiled as she observed the shadow filled forest. "I'm ready for my assesment." She meowed.

    Stormheart's eyes gleamed. He knew that Mistpaw was a great choice for a Dark Forest warrior. Though she was a bit young, she would make the most excellent fighter if well trained... He yowled, "Follow me!" and raced over to a muddy river. "Show me first how well you can swim, Mistpaw and Ravenpaw." he meowed. He plunged into the water and swam easily and quickly, as agile as the most experienced RiverClan warrior.


    OOC: Try to be pretty realistic. Don't make them amazing in everything because they haven't been trained like Stormheart. But they can be good in certain things.

    Mistpaw's tail started twitching with anxietly, and a glint of fear appeared in her blue eyes. She swallowed as she stepped into the freezing water. She moved her paws in a effort to heat them. She took one final breath before leaping in, paws flailing. She swallowed large amounts of water as she swam furiously, falling on the opposite shore coughing.

    "Thanks." She coughed, as she panted franticly. After regaining her breath she sighed. "What's next." She asked curiously, her eyes eager.

    "Go!" Stormheart yowled. He shot up the tree, carefully and quickly picking his way around the branches like he'd been taught by his father. He got to the top first and waited for Ashpaw.
