  • Padding into the Sandy Hollow, the golden tabby took in the size of the training area. It was perfect for training new apprentices and he knew that he and his new apprentice would never run out of space for training purposes. Lowering his haunches to the sand, the tom curled his tail around his paws and patiently awaited the arrival of his new apprentice.

  • blazingpaw paded thorugh the sand she dident like, but she moved on trying to spot her mentor. she finely sees a golden tabby "hi" she meowed

  • Lionsong turned and looked over his shoulder to see the she-cat padding over. He quickly noticed the look of distaste for the domain she was walking across and he made a mental note to himself. Pushing himself up onto his pads, he turned and faced the apprentice.
"Hello, Blazingpaw." He flicked his tail in greeting and commented to the young female, "Thank you for showing up on time. I'm pleased."

  • Blazingpaw flicked her tail back, "im ready" Blazingpaw smiled

  • The tom nodded. "Today, we're going to explore the clan's territory boundaries. It is very important for you to know the area of our clan and where our boundaries meet with the others. We can also go hunting, if we see anything."
Turning towards the east and padding out of the Sandy Hollow, he continued rambling hoping that Blazingpaw would follow.
"Food has been scarce lately, because of leafbare, but whatever we find we may hunt for it."

  • "yea" she said and started to follow.half of her was listening the other half was thinking about her first hunt and her first time seeing the boundaries

  • Lionsong's ears swiveled backwards as he heard the she-cat's murmer of a reply. He chuckled lightly to himself, knowing that she was just excited about her first day. That was how most apprentices were during their first week; they were constantly mesmerized by the sights of the clan territory. He remembered when he was an apprentice himself and how he had treated his mentor during his first week.
The tom continued onward, padding around the outskirts of the clan's camp. He hadn't seen any prey moving about, but he was secretly praying to Starclan for a chance for Blazingpaw to hunt.

  • blazingpaw yawned, she was not used to waking up so early.she finely noticed she was taiking to her self and stooped. a littel embarrassed she started holding her head up and sniffing for pray
ooc:i have to go noww.see you tommrorow

  • Lionsong's ears twitched at the sound of the Thunderpath up ahead. He wanted to show Blazingpaw the path first because of how dangerous it was. Yes, everyone knew that the Snake Rocks were dangerous as well, but if a warrior tagged along there, they could easily kill an adder if they happened across one. With the Thunderpath, one wrong move and it could be the end. For anyone; not just apprentices. It was very dangerous, for every cat, and Lionsong wanted to make sure that his new apprentice understood just how serious the Thunderpath must be taken.
He turned to make sure she was following and saw her sniffing for prey. He knew they were both traveling too loudly to see anything, but he didn't comment on it. He continued walking until the smell of the sunbaked Thunderpath reached his nostrils, and then he stopped.

((OOC: Goodnight, see you tomorrow^^ ))

  • Blazingpaw heard soundes and, she was a littel scared but she kept on moving since her mentor was doing the same.finely he stoped and she waiked next to him, finely she got a scent of somthing " yack, what's that" blazingpaw says with discust on her face

  • The tom looked down at his apprentice and replied, "That, Blazingpaw, is the Thunderpath." Lionsong lifted his nose to the air and inhaled a big whiff of the air, smelling nothing but the stench of the monsters' road.
"The Thunderpath makes up a part of our boundary. On the other side lies the Shadowclan territory. This path is the only thing that keeps us seperated." Lionsong decided to get closer so his apprentice could see it up close, but not too close.

  • "oh" was the only thing that could come out of blazingpaws mouth. she looked up astonishes as she saw the round and beyond that the shadowclan forest. she lifted her nose to see if she could get any scent of the other clan

  • Lionsong padded over and sat beside the bushes that lined alongside the Thunderpath. When he turned to look back at his apprentice, he noticed her scenting the air.
"You won't be able to detect the other clan's scent until moon high. When the sun is up, the heat bakes the road, causing it's scent to be strongly detectable. But wheit is nighttime, the Thunderpath cools and the stench almost goes away."
Suddenly, Lionsong saw the face of a monster coming closer along the Thunrpath.
"Why, here comes a monster now."

  • blazingpaw nodded, she fixed her eyes on the monster as it past very fast making her long fur go to one side and her ears ring of the monster crossing. "wow" she said as she shook her fur

  • A chuckle vibrated the warrior's chest as he stood up and padded back to Blazingpaw's side.
"I'm surprised you didn't run off. Some apprentices can barely take in the sight of the Thunderpath, let alone one of it's monsters." He tilted his chin up respectfully and said with pride, "I'm very proud of your bravery, Blazingpaw."

  • "thank you" she said, "i still wouldn't crossed it". she sat down next to loinsong and looked up at him "has anyone crossed it"

  • He looked down at his apprentice and nodded . "Yes, many cats have." Lionsong tilted his head and said, "Did you know that every leader of each clan has had to cross it?" He lowered his belly to the ground, curling his tail around his left back leg.

  • "why"she said

  • "Because, the leader has to make a journey to the Highstones, where each leader spends a night to share tongues with Starclan and recieve their nine lives." Lionsong enjoying sharing stories with the younger cats. He found joy in it.

  • "can you tell me about the high stones and the starclan" blazingpaw says sitting down looking at the Forrest
