"On my way" she said back right after she heard the voice respond. She kept firing shots every few min. but hurried to the overpass... 20 min later....
"medic here- where is the wounded?" she yelled as she started having to shoot back more and more.

Mike opened the door to the jeep. "O-over here." he said pulling out his SCAR and propping the barrel on the door to assist in shooting at the iraqies

Katherine ran over to the jeep and hopped into it... she reported herself to the man
"Officer Katherine Schneider Im a doc. and pilot in the A.F. call me Kat if you want sir'"
She threw the bag off the back and opened it with the necessity's of what she needed... -
"Nice to meet your acquaintance. The names Marine Sargent Mike Gilbert." he said pointing out the hole in his leg

"Shit... you were shot" she said as she grabbed alcohol, bandages, suture and needles out of her bag....
"this may sting..." she said as she poured the alcohol onto the wound and dried it out with cotton gauze and started stitching the wound up -
He winced but other than that kept a straight face

"almost done soldier" she said tying the stitches off..

"Thank God you got here when you did. Thank you." He said

"No problem" she said as she cut the stitching off with her knife. "you would have bled out to be honest with you... the alcohol stopped the bleeding and made it clot for the stitches and ta-da... here we are" she said smiling putting up her supplies.

He nodded "I've gotta find a way to help him." he said motioning to Miller

"Roger - you come with me but don't run... you rip your stitches open and bleed to death."
She said as she flung her pack onto her back and grabbed her gun -
He grabbed the SCAR and followed, slowly like she told him

She got to Miller and reloaded quickly

Katherine pulled her gun up after reloading and started firing shooting enemy after enemy...

"there coming out of nowhere and im down on 2 mags"he said reloading

"roger' she said as she kept shooting... "we have to get the hell out of here Miller- there are too many of them and too little of us." she yelled over the sound of bullets being fired.
