  • HopePaw lowered her haunches to the domain and curled her orange tail around her tiny white paws bashfully. She was both nervous and excited about meeting the other apprentices. Her lobes flicked with anticipation as her icy blue eyes flitted around, trying to find any movement among the den. She had finally become one was ready to do her part in her clan.
    I hope they like me...
She thought to herself as she lowered her gaze to her paws, where she lifted her right one and groomed it, patiently waiting.

  • Windpaw looked at she she-cat grooming herself. He made 2 or 3 friends, but wanted to make more friends. His fear of talking to others was still happening. He padded up to the she-cat then said, "H-Hi." He took a step back, thinking the she-cat will hurt him. "W-What's your name?" He asked, trying to hide his fear. he still doesn't understand why he is still afraid of talking to others. even his clan mates.

  • Hopepaw looked up at the small tom who was brave enough to introduce himself. She smiled at the kit and replyed, "Hi, Windpaw, I'm Hopepaw. It's nice to meet you!" Her bright blue eyes flashed with happiness as she introduced herself. The white kit seemed nervous and she stood up, flicking her tail in a playful manner.
"I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to make new friends!" She purred softly, a smile glistening in her ice blue eyes.

  • "I-I know. Sometimes I do that to protect myself. And I too, want to make new friends as well." He replied back to Hopepaw.

  • The she-cat lowered her belly to the ground and curled her tail around her back left leg. Her ears restlessly twitched, picking up all the different sounds around her. Hopepaw's gaze turned to the male kit and noticed he was almost the same color as her.
"Hey, were both white!" She pointed to his tail with her paw. "Except I have an orange tail and orange ears."

  • Windpaw made a little chuckle. His ears was itchy, so he hits his ears, but instead he hits his whiskers. He hits his whiskers again then started to laugh a little. he falls on the floor, playing with his whiskers.

  • Hopepaw giggled as she watched the tom play. She rolled over onto her side and swished her tail back and forth, watching the kit find his whiskers entertaining.

  • Windpaw looked at Hopepaw giggling at him. He got up as quickly as he can. He felt embarrassed when he was playing with his whiskers.

  • Hopepaw watched him stand quickly and realized her laughter must have offended him. She had not been making fun of his playing, she had only him humorous. Thinking to herself, she sprang up onto her paws and fluffed out her fur playfully, pretending to be bigger than she was. A giggle tickled her throat as she made her fur stand on end. With speed, her paw reached out and batted at his tail. A chirp of playfullness escaped her lips as she laughed. "Do you want to play?"

  • "S-Sure." He replied back to Hopepaw. "What kind of game?" Windpaw asked.

  • The she-kit looked around the den and relaxed her fur. "I don't know. I'm sure we can find something to do." Suddenly, she caught sight of a large pebble a few kit-lengths away. She frolicked over to where the small rock, about the size of her largest pad, lay still and lifeless on the ground. Getting an idea, she began hopping around it playfully and batting it between her paws. With a gentle push, she rolled it over to where the small tom stood. The rock rolled and slowed to a stop beside the white kit's paw.

  • Windpaw tilted his head to the left a little, lost on what was the she-cat trying to do. Is she making a new game? He thought. so, he rolled it back to Hopepaw.

  • The sight of the rock rolling back towards her made her purr with happiness. He was participating in her new game and she was glad for it. She liked the thought of becoming friends with the tom and as the rock rolled up to her, she batted it back towards Windpaw, giggling with glee.

  • Windpaw rolled the rock back by pusing it with his paws. He was smiling nervously, but was having fun with the game Hopepaw created.

  • Hopepaw pounced sideways pretending to dodge the rock as it rolled by. She darted after it and batted at it once more, causing it to roll between her legs back towards the tom. The smile playing at his lips was a good sign to Hopepaw. She could tell he had been timid at first, but he seemed to be warming up.

  • Windpaw giggles a little then pushes the rock with his paw to the she-cat again.

  • Hopepaw smiled hearing the tom giggle. It seemed like he was having fun and she liked the idea of having a new friend. She picked up the rock with her paws and playfully tossed it over to Windpaw, a long chain of softhearted giggles escaping through her lips.

  • Windpaw heard Hopepaw giggled. But, He grew tired of the game a little, but kept playing.

  • Hopepaw was growing tired as well, so she stopped the rock as it rolled back towards her. She let out a large yawn that stretched her features for a second before her jowls met again. She lowered herself to her haunches and purred happily as she groomed her chest fur and her front legs.

  • Windpaw's ear was itchy again, so he hits it, and started to play with his whiskers again.
