  • A dog named Sneak stumbled down a rock, it had been days since she has last eaten. Her adventurous side had gotten the better of her and now she was lost and starving. Her bones stuck put awkwardly from her uncleaned border collie fur. Even though Sneak had been born and raised a stray she had always found food by rummaging through twoleg garbage. She sniffed the air carefully and scented some prey, its now or never! she told herself when she thought about her first time hunting.

  • A black greyhound with a brown collar padded through the woods sniffing the air. She could smell a bird not too far away and she crouched as she spotted a phaesant. She moved silently foward. She disturbing the dead leaves below her. The bird suddenly spread its wings abruptly. The greyhound leaped catching it in the air without much effort. She sat down to enjoy her kill.

  • Sneak turned her head and she saw another dog. With a sudden rush of adrenaline, she lost her hunger. This was the first time she had seen another dog since she was abandoned. Not wanting to startle the dog that she saw she threw back her head and began to howl. Sneak's voice rung through the woods and celebrated her small victory.

  • The black greyhound twitched her ears as she heard the howling. She picked up her kill and padded over to the border collie. Her brown eyes glinted worriedly as she took in the dog's appearance. She placed the phaesant in front of her. "Here you probably need it more than me," she said.

  • Sneak eyed the prey, "I couldn't!" she insisted. Although her hunger had been put off for a while, it would come back soon enough. As much as Sneak wanted the prey she couldn't bring herself to take it from the other dog.

  • Sneak gave a small nod of thanks. She then bent her head and gently took the kill in her jaws and began to eat.

  • Ebony sniffed the air trying to track down another scent. She could smell a rabbit nearby.

  • Sneak quickly demolished the pheasant that Ebony had offered her. "I am Sneak," the border collie said when she had finished.

  • "Nice to meet you, Sneak," she replied as she found a burrow. She began to dig it out. It was one of those times she wished she was a smaller breed of dog.

  • "Teach me to hunt!" Sneak barked with a spark of determination. If Sneak had to live as a stray then she had to learn the most basic thing of all. Hunting. Sneak hoped that Ebony would understand an teach her the basic survival skills.

  • Ebony turned looking back at Sneak. "Sure, what do you want to learn to hunt first?" There was always a certain way to catch different prey.

  • "Whatever is the most common prey that we find here;" Sneak said. She wanted to have the beat chance of survival. Learning how to hunt the most common prey would increase that chance.

  • Halo padded through the dark forest his head low to the ground a pale scar ran over his shoulder as well as one down his eye he growled as he looked around. He thought he heard something....

ooc:I did not make his name off your user name! ??? ??? ??? ;) :) which one?

  • OOC: Lol nice. BTW I like the Husky more.

IC: Sneak's ears twitched, there was a burning feeling but Sneak didn't know what bothered her. She just ignored her fears and continued thinking of how she was to survive in the wild.

  • Ebony twitched her ears hearing something. She decided to keep her ears open for any other sounds. "Rabbits," she said. "You always have to be quiet with rabbits, but if they spot you you'll have to be a fast runner."

  • Forrest a young black mini schnauzer had been looking for something to eat when she smelled two dogs. She headed towards the smell.

  • ooc: OK that's cool then I'm the husky!

ic:The husky's thick coat bristled as he snarled deep within his chest. Why were these strange scents all over his territory? He stalked forward his hackles raised he stood once he found some cover and he growled lowly. He looked around and saw a large boulder Vantage point he thought he pelted over to it and in one mighty leap he landed squarely on the rock. Halo raised his broad head and opened his muzzle to the skies and howled an eerie yet lulling howl into the forest hoping to tell whoever or whatever was on his turf to go away.

  • Forrest heard the howl and stayed quiet she had spotted a rabbit hole.

ooc: Is it ok if it is the exit to the rabbit hole the two other dogs found?

  • OOC: Fine with me.

IC: "I have Collie in my blood, I should be able to run fast," Sneak joked. Her ears flew up when she heard the eerie howl of Halo. Stay off your turf...? Once again sneak threw hear head back and let out another howl that acknowlaged his claim of territory, it said: I will leave as soon as possible.
