Belle smiled slightly, "Yeah, the blue and white streak of light is my friend Sparx. He's a Manectric. Though, he's usually very timid, so it's nice to see him like that." She responded.
Sparx watched as he tripped, but continued running. Not really wanting to stop. Last time he stopped abruptly he went flying into a tree. And that was the last time he ran.

*tries to catch up as they enter the final 500 yards

He continued running, ignoring his surroundings now.

*spark knew he would lose but he was still shouted by the black electric "I...have...to...win...no matter what!"

Mona wrapped her tail loosely around 9-volt. "Hm. It's a bit of a nice change from almost every other manectric I've met."

The shiny vulpix tilted her head, "You've met other Manectric? I hear their all jerks." She then glanced down at 9-Volt. "Who's that?"
Sparx continued running.

*they were coming up to the last 100 yards

"Ah, this is 9-volt." The motioned at the shiny Shinx. "I consider him my little brother. We're close. And yes... I have met other manectric. Many of them are arrogant jerks."

Yogi watched as Sparx kept running. He was quite surprised he hadn't fallen on his face yet.
Belle smiled, "He's cute. And yeah, I guessed as much. Sparx has been quite sweet and timid since he was still an Electrike though. Though, I've never met any other Manectric's or Electrike's."

*sparx crossed the finish line first

Dayimay smiles. She didn't really knew who to root for,but she was happy he won. Voltz watched."I kept my promise! I challenge the winner!" he yelled.

"Electrike are usually decent. But once they evolve... They think that they're the best thing that ever happened to the world."

*ran straight in to the wall "oh no..."

*was lying on the floor he gets up weakly

"A-are you alright?" Mona asked in shock.

"Yeah...but...my trainer..." *then spark faints

Sparx attempted to stop. But instead, he tried and went flying. He crashed into the wall a few feet above Spark. Then, after a few minutes, he finally dislodged by moving a little and fell to the ground beside him, groaning in pain.
Belle smiled and nodded to her remark, but was then taken over. She gasped in surprise and darted over, "Sparx!"

*weakly looks up to see his trainer "oh...no" spark got up despise nearly being knocked out

Mona got up hurriedly, causing 9-volt to flinch at the loss of warmth.
She wondered where the caretakers at this daycare were."maybe we should get the caretakers..."
