    IC: Firepaw and Gingerpaw raced into their new den. To think, they had been kits only minutes ago. The skidded to a halt in the middle of the den. "Where are our nests?" Firepaw asked the other apprentices.

    Inkpaw, a pretty black she-cat with snowwhite paws, looked up from her deep sleep at the racket Firepaw made.


    "Yours is next to mine" she said pointing to an empty next next to hers. Smiling at him then looking at Gingerpaw she said "yours is next to his" Smiling at her too. Interested in the two new aprentices she stood up and streched. "Glad to have you guys here." When passing Firepaw she paused and a flicker of excitment flashed through her eyes. Then walked out of the den.

    [font=courier][color=white]OOC: Firepaw's a she-cat. Even though her name sounds like a tom's (If Inkpaw thought about Firepaw being a mate if she was a tom, Leaftail, their mother, could have another litter later on with a tom just like Firepaw. If not, ignore me. XD)
    IC: Gingerpaw dipped her head at Inkpaw. "Thanks."
    "Nice to meet you too!" Firepaw added to Runningpaw as the sisters settled down in their nests.

    IC: Firepaw leapt out of the apprentice's den, snatched a plump trout from the fresh-kill pile, dragged the fish back into the apprentice's den, and settled down beside her sister to eat.
    "That's a big one." Gingerpaw commented as Firepaw bit into the trout.
    "Yup. Biggest one there was." Firepaw's mew was muffled from the fish in her mouth.
    "I bet we'll have to check the elders for ticks after we eat." Gingerpaw muttered.

    He finished his fish and stretched his stiff muscles


    Runningclaw approached Gingerpaw "The leader has ordered that I be your mentor" He smiled lightly

    "ill be a warrior soon! im almost 12 moons old!" she said gleefully looking at runningclaw for a glance of aprovall he was her role model. he was also a friend of hers.
