"Okay, guess I'll see you early in the morning," he muttered then padded away toward the warrior's den.

Barkpaw went up to the apprentice den and lied down beside bluepaw

The next day brought a heavy rainstorm. Lakerush emerged from his den, the rain plastering his fur against his body. He looked awkwardly thin without his long fur fluffed. He entered the apprentice's den, and to his surprise, all the apprentices were asleep. He finally found Barkpaw's nest, which was near the back. He prodded her with a paw.
"Come on, Barkpaw. It's time to wake up." -
Barkpaw got up slowly still tired from yesterday's lesson

"Are you feeling a little stiff?" Lakerush inquired.

The patrol will loosen me up

"You are quite a determined cat!" he purred. "Let's go catch up with the others."

"Thanks," she replied. Then she pranced out of camp behind her mentor.

Lakerush finally found the patrol, consisting of one warrior and four apprentices. This greatly puzzled him. It seemed as if the other warrior was beating up the four apprentices.
"Hey, stop hurting those apprentices!" Lakerush hissed, raising an unsheathed paw. "You know the Clan rules! Why would you be so cruel to others?"
The tortie grunted, "None of your business."
Lakerush glanced at Barkpaw. "Go get the leader, this is URGENT." -
Barkpaw raced back into camp and got their leader mistystar. A warrior is beating up apprentice come quick!!!
