"Alright." She bounded in the opposite direction in search of herbs. A few minutes later, under a small elder bush was a fairly large Golden Rod plant. She got a bit of the Golden Rod and happily went in search for more herbs. "Ooh...look, Spider Webs! Perfect to stop bleeding and hold deferent herbs on a wound.

"Very good!" Shinepool attempted to say through a mouth full of herbs, though it ended up coming out as "Erry oogh!" She approached her apprentice and spat out a mouthful of herbs next to the apprentice's. "I've found catmint! I found a two-leg nest, and outside of it, there were lots of fake mice! They were all filled with catmint! They've got enough to last us for nearly a hundred moons! Come! Let me show you!" She them motioned for her apprentice to follow her and trotted off to the two-leg den. Even though it was taken from a two-leg den, it didn't matter to her. Her mentor shown her that the particular two-legs that lived in this dwelling were quite kind, and their kitty-pets quite docile. They did not mind at all sharing their things with her. When desperate, she had come here before to get cat mint since these two-legs grew their own. She of course did not take these herbs often though, only when the clan was desperate since during most of the year she was able to tend her own garden in the woods and grow herbs. When she arrived, she leapt onto the fence. "There," she said and flicked her tail towards the two-leg yard which was littered with kitty-pet toys. "All the cat-mint we could ever need... And its our's for the taking."

Ooc: BUMP!
BIC: The wind blew.
-
OOC: Bumpers!!!
IC: The wind blew, cold and strong over the badly sheltered clearing. Brittle reeds, blown by the menacing gale, collided, filling the forest with a strange melody. Trees rocked from side to side, roots creaking, limbs reaching, leaves scattering.
-
Earl gazed around at the camp, which was rattling like a teakettle put to boil. They should take shelter before the storm struck; he could see thunderclouds gathering fast and furious.
-
The wind blew hard, causing Shinepool to fall off the fence. "Lets get back to camp before the wind get too strong!" she grabbed her herbs and ran off towards camp.
-
Just at that moment, Earl realized something was wrong. "Where's Shinepool and Birchclaw?" He mewed into the wind. They had probably gone to collect herbs, but they had been out for a while, and in this weather.... As if the punctuate the thought, lightning struck, setting a tree not that far away into flames, as the rain poured out, beating them down.
Running over to Pinetalon, he near yelled, "I'm going out to find Shinepool and Birchclaw!"
-
As rain began to pour down, Shinepool ran in the direction of camp, holding the herbs tight in her jaw so she didn't drop any of them. She burst through the entrance and ran straight to her den and spat out the herbs. She quickly sorted them into piles, and stood at the entrance of her den out of the rain, waiting for Birchclaw.
-
Seeing the medicine cat enter camp, Earl called out, "Where's Birchclaw?" The words, however, were blown away in the ever-stronger gale.
-
IC: Birchclaw cried out against the wind, but it seemed hopeless. "Help!" the med app called out again, she was stuck under a large limb that fell in the wind; it was trapping her in-between a large rock and other tree limb. She couldn't find a way out. The wind blew stronger and louder every second. (OOC: Sorry I haven't replied in so long)

ooc It's okay, I think most people have been taking their own sweet time with this thread.
ic Earl heard a faint cry as the wind buffered him for a moment. Whatever the cry was, it sounded like one made by an animal in distress, so the shoulder rushed towards it, pushing against the gale.

Shinepool had not realized that the branch had fallen on her apprentice as she ran. She stood in her den, waiting for her apprentice to return impatiently. After a few minutes of waiting, she ran to her clanmate, Earl. "EARL!" she cried, "Birchclaw didn't come back! She's still somewhere out in the storm! We must find her!" Her voice was distressed and worried, and her worry showed on her face.
-
The tom nodded. "I think I might know where she is!"
-
Shinepool nodded. "We should follow the path I ran down to get back! She's probably still somewhere around there!"
-
"Let's go!" The shoulder waited impatiently for Shinepool to lead the way.
-
Birchclaw cried out again, praying to StarClan that some cat heres her. *I don't want to freeze to death! I have to much to live for!* She thought in agony, praying again, and looking up, though she could not see her beloved stars.
-
Shinepool ran down the trail as fast as she could, and after a few minutes, they reached Birchclaw. "BIRCHCLAW!" she called when she saw her apprentice. She attempted to pull the branch off of her, but it was too heavy! She thought for a minute, and an idea came to her! "EARL! We need to gnaw through the branch! The wood will be wet since it's raining, so it will make it easier!" She began to chew the wood as quickly as she could, also while scratching at the bottom of the branch with her claws, hoping to break through it as quick as possible.
-
Starts shivering harder, and tries to help them gnaw and claw away the branch, but she's pinned down too hard. She can't move. "I'm so glad....to see you guys... I though.... I was a gonner!" Birchclaw said, struggling for breath.
-
"No!" hissed Shinepool through gritted teeth as she gnawed on the fallen branch, "We won't let you die! I promise!" she had worked much too hard raising this apprentice to let her die. It was her fault she was back here. She had not paid attention to Birchclaw. Had she, she knew her apprentice would not be trapped as she was. "We're going to get you out. She continued to scratch and chomp at the branch, slowly working her way through it. She knew that it would be difficult and that it would take ages to get through, but she would do it. She had to for Birchclaw.
-
Birchclaw smiled weakly, It'll be all right. I know it will, my mentor is strong "Shinepool.. don't worry, I'll be okay :) " she said, still struggling to breathe. She tried to wriggle her way out, or to at least loosen herself from the fallen branch. "If... if something ...happens to ... me. What... will you do?..." She asked, out of breath now, she tried to take in a deep breath, it can out ragged.
