There's no one left anymore. What happened to them you might ask? I try to forget but alas I can't so I guess I'll tell you the story but I ask of you to brace yourselves, for their is a world of pain and misery hidden in this RP.

It all started in the year 2067. The world's population exploded to massive numbers. The world was only meant to hold a certain amount of people and mankind has long since exceeded it's capacity. There was no land left untouched by us and countries were reduced to just one big city. Forests were a thing of the past and only existed in history books. Animals? There were rats, pigeons, and cockroaches of the sort but they, too, were target for predatation by people. They were, indeed, disease ridden, disgusting animals but there was nothing left for people to eat. There was no farmland for crops or animals and the oceans were nothing more than masses of oil and inedible, rotting fish carcasses. Soon, not even those pests were left to eat. Starving parents were desperate to feed their starving families so they resorted to the unthinkable: Cannibalism. Hundreds of people would go missing on a daily basis. At first police tried to control it but it was too much for them. The government officials, overwhelmed, left office and no one's seen any sort of government since. The population, one by one, was picked off until there was only a fraction of the population left.

The cities were in awful condition. The streets were lined with rotting carcasses and falling buildings. No one wanted to live there. They were, to put simply, inhabitable. Since the entire world was just one big city, where could the last of humanity reside? There was one option: The underwater bases hidden from people by the government.

They were, at first, built for military purposes. So Americans could monitor the rest of the world in a private, hidden location. But soon they became a safe haven for the rich when the world started crumbling. That didn't last long, however. The poor rioted and broke their way into the city. The rich were slaughtered. Now, the underwater landscape is the only place left on Earth where the only remaining people can live. There are other cities in the sea filled with both the poor and the rich. But we are focusing on one, specific city that's in the center of it all. The name of this city: Skyfall.

Skyfall is the largest, most successful city in all of the seven seas. The people there are the lower class citizens that took control of it. They have no allies and are constantly at war with someone. The people there are described as savages to any outsider, but inside the city it's a whole other story. Skyfall is a caring community that takes care of eachother. The people there work their jobs and so long as everyone does their job, the city's successful.

As for food, they eat anything they can find. Most often it's meat. No one asks if it's really fish because everyone knows better. Everyone knows why war prisoners are never released and just disappear. They're just thankful to have food on their plates. They also take advantage of the ocean's nutrient rich soil to artificially grow fruits and vegetables.

There's two leaders for this city. The head of the city is the Ruler. She overlooks the entire city and makes adjustments as she sees fit. She fires and hires and also makes sure everyone has a job and does their job. If someone is lazy and doesn't do their job, she sends them to the prison for slaughter as they would be more use there than where they were at the time. It's usually a matriarch unless decided otherwise.

Then there's the other leader: The Commanding General. He oversees the army and prison. He decides whether or not to declare war with another city. He also controls law enforcement as well. He and the Ruler work in conjunction to decide on laws and if you break one you are given a punishment accordingly. Your punishment could be anywhere from not getting your rations for a certain amount of days to being sent to the prison for slaughter. That's usually a patriarch unless decided otherwise.

Then there's the two Medics. They're doctors and are highly respected in the community. One treats the general public and the other treats the military. They do, however, have to follow the laws set in place like everyone else but with some leniency. Rarely would a medic be given the death penalty unless they committed treason or murder.

There's also soldiers. The Commanding General decides who's enrolled in the military according to athletic ability among other things. They tend to do the dirty work, like fighting a war or executing prisoners.

Then there's the Scientists. They invent and manufacture things. The most common of these are oxygen masks that separate oxygen from the water. Everyone uses these to but most often they're used by soldiers at war or training.

At the bottom are farmers. They are the poorest of the poor in an entire city of poor. Usually they're prisoners who were sentenced something other than death (Which is rare). They farm and cook the city's meals.

History ~ Fay was born in Southern US along with her two older brothers. Fay grew up at the very bottom of the social ladder and was already afraid of the world around her. When the hunger and cannibalism broke out, Fay became even more fearful until one night when a stranger broke into their house with intentions to kill all of them. He succeeded for the most part but missed a panicked Fay hiding in the closet. Since then, she's dropped her timid nature and became rough and unforgiving towards anyone who harms the citizens of Skyfall.
Personality ~ Being the youngest with two older brothers, she's rather rough but not exactly tough. When faced with a stressful situation, she often cracks under the pressure. She's extremely stubborn and when told to go right she'll go left just to prove you wrong.

History ~ Gen grew up in a rather loud house, crowded as it was small. She's gotten used to stuffy places and making tight choices from her childhood, also trying to toughen her way through trouble or situations that aren't very important, to be honest.
Personality ~
Gen is an active person who tries her best to run the city alongside Fay in the best shape it can possibly be in. She is highly sensitive with equal rights, but has a good way of hiding hurt, usually crossing her arms, shrugging it off or just smiling about it, angering the person throwing the insults towards her. She is a workaholic, highly addicted to her job as it is important and she knows better than to slack off. Speaking of slackers, that's a subject she hates and if anyone is not doing their job, she'll take action after speaking with Fay.

A light breeze glided across the sky as darkness took lead. Whistling sounded in the ears of the citizens as sounds could be heard of doors closing, lights flickering, and people communicating as the sunset released it's finale, making way for the night. A long, busy day Gen had as the young woman, who was currently frustrated, took a seat upon her spring filled bed which rested upon creaky, slightly peeled wooden floors. Gen buried her head beneath her delicate, soft hands as thoughts ran through her head, struggling to keep up. Letting out an anger filled huff, she stood to her feet, taking the old notepad on a worn out dresser, and began to write notes down, emptying her thoughts to ease the stress at least the ever so slightest.
Questions about Skyfall? ~ I noticed in your sample you said they had a glass dome that surrounded the city? I hope I didn't miss it in the rest of the first post, because I surely read it all. It slightly confused me about the city's appearance?

Accepted ; It looks just like the picture except with a glass dome surrounding it. I really couldn't find a picture that matched the city perfectly so I chose the one that looked closest to it. Hope I didn't confuse you too bad.
