He was about to say something, but let it drop when the empress ordered him to carry one of the kittens. The tom looked down at the kit and hesitantly leaned down, picking up the squirming kit by the scruff. "Let's go!" He called, his voice muffled by the kitten's soft fur.

I'll fend off the dogs! run while you get a chance!" she hissed, getting weaker in each second, then realizing that she was sacrificing one of her lives for them "I'll live! Just go and run!
