"Hunting is for warriors. For now, you play. Is that so hard to ask?" She grabbed both kits by their scruff and carried them into the camp. Relieved faces came from the cats in the camp. No matter how mad she was at her kits, she felt proud that her kit had caught a mouse. She set the kits down.
"Go to the nursery," she instructed the kits. "Eat your mouse. It's not like anyone else can eat it."

Foxkit puffed out his chest proudly his red coat shining. He dropped the fluff for a second to check out Icekit's catch. He battes the mouse carefully. Then quickly picked up his soft thingy happily.
-
IceKit prodded the prey towards her moher
-
"I know! We could tuck it under Snowkit's bedding and let the tail stick underneath" He whispered very quietly into Icekit's ear.Making sure their mother didn't hear a word.
-
IceKit started giggling softly
-
"Why are you two smiling? You are in big trouble. I'm going to go tell Hazelstar how badly behaved you two are, and maybe you'll have to wait 7 month to become apprentices."
-
Foxkit's smirk quickly became wide eyed and frowning. He ran over to his mother and put his front paws on her chest almost getting eye level "Don't tell Hazelstar, or I won't be able to catch rabbits for you he wailed.
-
Snowkit padded over to them "What are you guys talking about?" she mewed innocently.
-
She looked over at Snowkit and back to Foxkit.
"Do you promise not to leave the camp until you are an apprentice and you are with a warrior?" -
Foxkit nodded quickly, he sat down his tail curled over his paws tightly and looked her with the ever so famous kitten eyes. His tail was puffed out making his appearance look like a tiny fox kit.
-
"Is that a yes?" She didn't break her stern look.
-
"Yes..." He mewed quietly. His eyes wide and serious.
-
"Come on." She started to feel a little sympathy. But he had to learn. She swooped the three kits up with her tail and led them into the nursery, grabbing the puny mouse in her mouth. She walked in the nursery and set the mouse down. Then she walked to her nest and plopped down, leaving the kits to eat the mouse. She was exausted.
-
AWW MOM! your no fun! IceKit hissed. your not happy we got this cool stuff?! she meowed obviously hurt. she picked up his baby mouse and went back to the nursery.
-
She growled and looked up.
"Do you not know that you did something wrong!" she yowled. "Why don't you get it?" Poppyheart looked over to them. "Why don't you go to the elder's den? I'll watch the kits," she meowed gently. Blizzardwing was a little nervous.
"It'll be good training," she begged, signaling towards her swollen belly.
She sighed. "Ok." She walked out of the den and into the elder's den. She lied in the corner and fell asleep instantly.
Poppyheart crouched down to the kit's level. "What your mother is trying to say is that you are not supposed to leave the camp. She's only doing this because she's worried about you. What if you ran into a fox?" Her voice was gently and sweet. -
We werent going to go very far! and she barely looked at my mouse she said prodding at her mouse
-
"She was very upset when Redheart died, and she doesn't want any of you to die also."
-
Foxkit picked up the tiny mouse by the tail and tossed it at Icekit and, nodded giving the single to get ready for,the prank. "Snowkit! Come look over here theres a weird beetle over here and it doesn't its just climbing on grass. Let catch it!" . Foxkit lead just at the entrance.
-
IceKit nodded. when snowkit left she put the fluff in the right postion in the moss
-
Poppyheart narrowed her eyes. "Can't you kits listen?" she hissed angrily. She walked over to him, grabbed the mouse, and carried it back to where she was laying. "You kits have no manners!"
