  • "Have you tried before?" Sev asked as he started walking. So, much for that idea. Maybe he could figure it out on his own? "Even if not, would you like to go into town with me?" he asked. He had never ventured past his home before. It actually kind of scared him what could be beyond. That's where a lot of the hunters came from . Now he was wondering if he would be shot, was he too wolf-like?

  • "Sure!" Anon said cheerfully, following Sev like a happy dog, "but it's getting late now, so how about we do that tomorrow?" he asked. He couldn't wait to try the 'cheese' or whatever it was called back at the den. It's been a long day for Anon and he was glad he got to experience a little bit of Sev's life. Anon still had the stick though. He was planning to do something to it and give it back to Sev but he didn't know how to carve wood. He'll just make a mess. He sighed as he followed Sev over to the river. Oh well... he wondered if cheese would taste good with berries.

  • (Did Sev's dream have something to do with Anon's talent?) "I wasn't going to do it today anyway." Sev chuckled 3then stopped once they got to the river. He sat down at the edge and began washing the tomatoes and eggs off. "I wonder what your talent is." he said, making sure what he was washing was clean before he put them in the basket. He washed the berries after that.

  • OOC: No, not really. The dream is just to draw Sev's attention to Anon and this "master". But I did give a hint of Anon's talent two posts ago. His master's orders don't help with Anon discovering his talent. He's not a clean freak for sure though :P

Anon's eyes lit up with joy when they reached the river. He ran up really close to it and knelt down at the bank, "wow! It looks so cool in person!" he exclaimed, gazing at his own reflection with the faint day light. He watched the river as Sev cleaned up all of the food. Just then, he saw a fish swim by quickly down the river and Anon blinked, watching the fish disappear downwards. "Hey, Sev?" he looked at Sev, "remember how you said I might be a good fisherman?" he stated, his eyes flashing brightly for a second.

  • (Berries or the ability to follow order?) Sev looked at him. "Yeah?" he asked then saw the glint in his eyes. "I wouldn't do that right now though." he said before going back to the task at hand. He then looked at some nearby rocks and picked a few up. They would make great dagger plus he needed to replace the ones he lost.

  • OOC: Unfortunately, none of those two :(

Anon blinked then looked back at the river, "aww, but the fish look so pretty" he said, pawing the water. He scared away a few fish and he sighed. He really wanted to try Sev's suggestions. If a fisherman didn't work then he can try helping Sev sell his produce. It's a bit late for fishing and the water was little cold but Anon put his stick down and rolled up his pant legs then waded into the shallow part of the river. "Cold, cold, cold!" Anon whined before he slowly started to get used to the cold temperature.

"Do wolves eat fish?" Anon asked as he stood in the river, his stance a little floppy for a beginner fisher. He didn't have a fishing rod or bait but he wanted to TRY catching something before going back to the camp. The water actually felt nice around his legs. So gentle and caressing.

  • (Then I didn't catch it.) Sev looked up and frowned. "Yes, they eat fish. Now please get out of the river before you fall. It's too cold out for you to be getting wet." he said. The last thing he wanted was for Anon to get sick so he couldn't help but add a bit of his Alpha status to his request. He also didn't want the other to get hurt.

  • OOC: it only said that Anon's Master's orders do not help Anon in figuring out his talent.

"Awww" Anon whined, but still stayed in the water, it's only one fish. How bad can it be?" He stayed very still and waited for a fish to come by. When he saw a rather big salmon swim down, he readied himself. Then he aimed to grab the fish where it was going to go and the fish started to splash about. He pulled the fish out with both hand and held it up like a trophy, "I got one! I got o- woah!" The fish struggled in Anon's grasp as the servant tried his best to deliver it to Sev. Anon almost slipped and got his pants all wet, "a little h-help?!" For a fish, it was rather strong... and slippery...

  • (I see. So it could be anything but what his master made him do. That's a wide range.) Sev frowned when Anon continued to ignore him. He got up to help him with the fish before he hurt himself or got even more wet. The water was cold but there wasn't anything he could do about it. He took out a dagger then stabbed the fish so it would stop flailing about. After that, he helped Anon out of the warer. He would have to clean and gut the fish where they were or it would stink up the whole camp. Not even the wolves liked the smell of rotting fish.

  • Anon yelped when he watched Sev stab the dagger through the fish. He quickly backed up in attempt avoid the dagger, throwing the fish over on the land in surprise. He slipped but managed to hold onto Sev in time before he fell. He was shivering in the cold, his pants all wet, his shirt had a few drops of water and blood from the fish. "I'm n-never going f-fishing again" he said, his teeth chattering from the cold. Maybe he wasn't meant to be a fisherman. He walked out with Sev and sat down against the tree, holding his stick close to him while gripping his cloak around him as well. He should've listened to Sev, but he was never good at following orders in the first place. Anon really felt fishing was his talent since he's never saw a river before in person and his master never ordered him to fish or even hunt.

Now Anon can see why he didn't even bother.

  • Sev sat down then made himself comfortable. He then started ccleaning the fish. "I told you not to go in the water." he sighed as he watched Anon shiver. "I guess you like to learn things the hard way." he said, removing the scales. "Now you're shoes and pants are all wet." he sighed. Looks like they would be having fish for dinner instead what was left of the deer.

  • Anon just whimpered like a distressed little puppy. He kept quiet, trying to keep warm. It was his fault he ended up this way. He was just too into the thought of finally finding his talent. Anon let out a small sigh and closed his eyes, trying to go to his happy place while his clothes dry. Wet clothes wasn't fun, they just stuck to his skin. At least this wasn't a torture that his master made him do.

"...M-My Master u-used to k-kick his s-servants i-into a f-freezing river a-as a t-torture method b-before..." Anon muttered suddenly after a while, his voice shaking from the cold and his tears. It was his fault he got himself wet and ignored Sev's orders. But Anon has always been a cry baby.

  • Sev finished with the fish. He put it in the cold basket then got up. "Let's head back, now. I'll start the pit and you can use it to warm up while I cook." he as he grabbed the baskets then held out his hand to help him up. "You don't need to cry about it." he said as he wiped Anon's tears away. "You don't live with your Master anymore. You live with us and no one's going to hurt you." he said.

  • Anon whimpered again then nodded. He took Sev's hand and stood up, clinging onto his cloak. He was glad he got the fish though even though he didn't make the kill. He still got it which sparked a little bit of hope in Anon. Fishing may not be his natural talent but Anon bet he could work his way up to it. He smiled at the thought and followed Sev back to the camp. He was still cold though but it was still worth it as well. (In contrast to me because I'm sweating hot -.-)

  • (I'm freezing.) Sev lead him back to the camp. He went straight into his den and started up the pit. "You should remove you're wet clothes." he advised as he poured some of his water into a pan. He picked up some tea leaves and started to boil them in the water. It would help Anon warm up plus the new blanket should help as well.

  • Anon quickly went over to the fire and sat down, relishing the warm feeling of the fire. He smiled then looked up at Sev when he was told to take his wet clothes off. He blinked and looked down at his pants that were all wet, his t-shirt was a little wet too and dirty. He just wore his new clothes for a day and managed to get them dirty on the same day. Anon sighed then stood up, "yeah.. I probably should...?" he looked around for extra clothes when he realized he forgot them back at the house, "u-um... I seemed to have forgotten my other clothes back at your house" he said, his face red with embarrassment. He couldn't believe he forgot! He's had enough bad luck for a while!

  • "You're still going to have to take them off. No clothes are better than wet clothes." Sevv said as he exited his den. He grabbed the newly made blanket and walked back in. "You can cover up with this once you are done." he said, handing him the new blanket. "This should keep you warm enough while you snuggle up by the fire. Be carful. I don't want you to catch the blanket on fire." he said.

  • Anon blinked then smiled at Sev, "thanks" he took the blanket and went to the corner to take off his clothes. He took off his t-shirt first then was a little hesitant to take off his pants. He took a deep breath and took off his pants, grabbing the blanket quickly and wrapping it around himself cozily. He smiled at the warmth then looked at the pile of clothes on the ground. His cloak was wet too but he didn't want to leave it on the floor. He folded it up neatly, hugging it close to him then walked over to the fire, sitting down with the cloak on his lap. His blanket was so warm, draped around him. "Thanks for the blanket again" Anon said, looking up at Sev with a smile, "it's really nice"

He was starting to feel nice and warm again, his legs no longer so cold.

  • Sev took the pot off the fire then sat it in front of Anon. "Drink this." he said before putting the skillet on. He put some of the butter in the skillet and waited for it to melt. After that he cooked the eggs and watched them. He would flip the eggs in the skillet every now and then before adding the cheese and berries to it.

  • Anon took the pot and examined it a little before taking a small sip. It was hot but not burning hot. Just perfect. Anon gulped down a little bit before he sat back with a sigh, "that's nice" he smiled, rubbing his stomach approvingly. He looked at Sev again and noticed he was cooking the egg, cheese and berries. He blinked when Sev added the berries into the skillet. Who cooks berries? Anon tilted his head as he watched.

He did feel a little awkward sitting naked with only his blanket and cloak to cover him up. Hopefully Sev isn't the kind that gets any... ideas... seeing him like this.
