    All that is gold does not glitter,
    Not all those who wander are lost;
    The old that is strong does not wither,
    Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
    From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
    A light from the shadows shall spring;
    Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
    The crownless again shall be king.[fancypost]

  • OOC: @Gambit, Well, you're still early in, so easy to jump in. A game of capture the flag was played with the blue team winning. River then arrived at Half-Blood Hill with a pack of hellhounds, managing to kill most of them on her own. Once the fight was over, Lily escorted River to the infirmary to get checked out. In the meantime, Dylan and Zack had an ensuing arguement, mking it clear that they are rivals and practically hate each other. Still in the meantime, Zero arrived to Camp and Chiron is there to show him around. And at this moment, Zack is wandering around all moody like, River is getting treated by Lily, and Dylan is standing in the infirmary.

    @Tinuviel, Ahem, your form looks good, however I put a limit to the number of Children of the Big Three, so there weren't too many of them. Unfortunately the cap for all of them has been reached, so I would ask you to change your godly parent. If it's not too much trouble. Please.

    IC: "Zero," Chiron said, clearing his throat. He couldn't help but smile. "The way to Camp is this way," he said, gesturing in the opposite direction from the one Zero was going.

    "Puppies and kittnes are for Ares kids," Dylan scoffed. "I kick chimera pups," he said with a smirk. Obviously there was some kind of hidden, running joke behind it, but he probably wasn't going to tell and they probably wouldn't get it. That's Dylan for ya.

  • River looked at him, "Whats your name boy?" She asked Dylan pushing a strand of her raven black hair behind her ear. She looked at him slightly amused.

    Zero turned and marched barefoot the other direction, "Onward!" He said the large jacket flapped as he marched.

  • Lily just gawked at River, unable to believe what she had just suggested. She was glad River had started speaking with Dylan or she may have flippe dout. "I do not," she muttered, low, needing to say something to deny it.

  • River looked at Lilly with a ya right kind if look. Then turn back to Dylan, "Do you wanna answer me or should I just keep calling you boy?"

  • "You can call me whatever you want," Dylan said, running a hand through his raven hair before shoving his hand sin his jean pockets. "Some suggestions are, death boy, son of the black god, and the Poseidon kid came up with the very creative corpse-breath," He paused, then shrugged. "But if you want a real name, mine's Dylan Fandor, son of Hades."

    "Indeed," Chiron said, following him in bemusement.

  • Cordelia had gone back to the Zeus cabin to get some clothes and a towel before heading over and taking a shower early. Normally the schedule said showers after dinner in a ceartin order, which she could probably get the Zeus cabin firs tif she wanted, but Cordelia was weird and liked to shower before dinner. In clean clothes, looking fresh as a flower with her red hair slightly damp, she headed over to the pvilion and took a seat at the Zeus table. She always liked to get their early.

    Katrina, on the other hand, was covered in dirt in leaves still, someone from her cabin only jus tnow finding her. She stromed across camp, not unlike a Minataur. She was in search of none other than Lily Whitewind. She had a serious bone to pick with that girl. Sure, Cassie and Jack had tied her up, but they were weak and could be dealt with later.

  • Zero held his toothbrush tight in his hand as he marched. "The dead go marching one by one hurah! hurah! The dead go marching one by one hurah! Hurah!" He sang softly as he walked deturmindly forward.

    "I'll go with Dylan unless you get on my nerves." River shrugged. "So you're a son of Hades? How do you know,"

  • Zack ran a hand through his hair as he entered the Posiedon cabin. Like always, it felt lonely. He sat at the end of the cabin, his feet dangling over the lake as he looked out over it. He looked at the other shore, always wondering what was over there.

  • Chiron let out a hearty laugh when he heard just what Zero was singing. "And this is where the cabins are," he said, gesturing to the colorful assortment of building around thme. "The Hades cabin is cabin 13. Right over there," he said, pointing to the black obsidian building the the greek fire braziers. "And I do like that song of yours."

    "You're kidding, right?" Dylan asked, thinking she was joking. When he discovered she wasn't he shrugged. "Most people are claimed. They get this flaming symbol of their parent over their head. Sometimes they got something else happen to them too. My dad claimed me when I was five, and I actually met him and he introduced himself as my father. Which is cool."

  • "Come on! We're so close!" Sapphire yelled as she ran as fast as she could, approaching Half Blood Hill at top speed. Her step siblings, Connor and Jasmine, were lagging a little bit. Sapphire didn't get why they were so tired. Jasmine did Kung Fu, and Connor played quarterback on their school's football team. The three rocketed over the hill and through the barrier when Sapphire finally stopped. "We made it," sh epanted, sinking to the ground. "Just like my dad said we would."

    "I thought your dad was dead," Connor panted, falling on his back and feeling like he'd run miles without stopping. Of course Sapphire had already explained the whole demigod thing, and so had both his step parents. He still had trouble processing the info though.

    "Never mind that," Jasmine said, still standing. She knew when winded it was best not to sit. "What was that thing?! Back there? Chasing us?"

    "Chimera," Sapphire answered absently, getting to her feet. "We'll be safe now. It can't cross the border."

  • "So freaking cool!" Zero said running over to the building. His bare little seven year old feet hit the obsidien as he ran to the building.

    "What makes them want to claim us?" River asked looking at her knife with the wierd symbols on it.

  • "You know, I'm not really sure," Dylan admitted. "Like I said, I wasn't claimed like everybody else is. So I can't even really begin to think on it."

    Chiron smiled at the boy, looking up as he saw the three teenagers cross into Camp. "You will find clothes and shoes inside on one of the bunks. A horn will blow when dinner is ready, and you can meet your fellow campers then."

  • "So they claim us to make them look good?" River said. "And if we don't make them look good, what? They leave us wondering?"

  • Cassie was sitting on the steps of the Demeter cabin, looking around.

    Jack was already seated at the Dionysus table, people watching and taking sips from his flask every once in a while.

    Ember had gone back to her cabin and was currently working on a metal project of some kind, hitting it repeatedly with a hammer while cursing in Greek to herself.

    Mason had gone to shoot some targets after the game, but now he put his bow and arrows away and started headingover to the pavilion.

  • "Well, no," Lily said, obviously thinking on this matter. "most everyone gets claimed at some point. I think the gods just like us to figure out who we are first, and then they claim us when it's obvious. I think," she concluded, eyebrows together in thought.

  • Zero nodded and opened the door of the cabin. Walking in he saw an open bunk and grabbed the pillow on it felling how soft it was. He walked around hugging the pillow and holding his tooth brush, looking around the cabin.
