the kit dared herself to go a bit closer, but went back a few inches once again. caramelkit struggled to open her eyes to reveal her emerald green optics, but they refused to open. the kitten gave up in defeat, her small paws batting the ground for a moment before she stopped, her ears flattening. hearing the purr, the ginger/caramel colored kit gave an attempt to purr, trying to mimic the sound, but she just ended up cooing.

I laughed heartily at the kit's imitation of a purr. I had to admit, this kit was cute. The others were still sucking at their mother's stomach, yet this one was adventurous.

Squirming angrily, Rockykit turned to 'glare' blindly at Darkchocolate, as he didn't like the smell of anything besides his mother. He felt safe there, and the scent of the other she-cat made him uncomfortable. ~~because he's a total jerk.~~ Rockykit's black form stayed at his mother's belly as he greedily drank the milk coming from her teat. He may have not been old enough to have any emotions, but he still didn't like anything out here. In the womb, it had been much nicer, warm, and free of strangers.
