  • You are not dumb, all ideas are open! :)

The group exchanged glances before Danny spoke up, "I'm in for it."
"What about you, Nila? Unless you're too senstative or can't take it, we can always do something else." Daryl snickered.
Acknowledging the challenge she frowned slightlyand mustered up some courage to talk calmly, "I'm not affraid to do a homework assignment. Are you?"
She was answered with a glare of his own.
"But who and how are we going to test it?" Danny pressed. "Just run a few pranks within the class?" He looked at Zero as he said this.

  • Zero squirmed under Danny's gaze and he shot the guy a quick glare before he shifted his eyes to look at his desk. He hardly ever glared at anyone and he couldn't keep it up for long. Besides, he was trying his best from hating Danny because there was no logic behind hating him. Sure, the guy seemed pretty dark and he had never liked being near him but Zero wondered why he felt hatred towards him. Zero had reasons behind hating a person so what made Danny an exception to this? It didn't seem right to hate someone for no real reason other than being mysterious.

Raven thought over what Danny said and ignored the banter between Nila and Daryl. As long as no one was physically fighting, he did not feel the need to get involved.
"Hmm... We could try and scare a large amount of the people in this boring town. This place needs more excitement anyway." The dark-haired teen suggested sadistically. "And we shouldn't do any normal pranks either. We might even have to think of darker pranks and tricks to spark some fear."
He wasn't popular for being nice, many other things had helped him gain his high status within the school and being a sadist was one of them.

  • Danny grinned, "I approve. What about you Zero? You in?"
Nila looked at Zero as he figited in his seat, a look of question and concern on her face but she remained silent. This would be quite an interesting experience but she was not going to yield to these creeps...

(I apologize for the short responses, I have plans after this relatively mellow scene)

  • OOC: It's ok! :)

Zero chewed his upper-lip before nodding stiffly. "Fine, but only if you guys don't go too far." At this, he shot Raven a look that was like a warning not to do something horrible in the future.
The dark-haired teen ignored him though and smirked. "A festival is coming up, maybe we should plan something for it? There will be a large number of people there." He said.
Zero looked concerned. Was Raven reverting into his cold-hearted self? Even after how long it took for Zero to help him change his ways?

  • Danny smiled, "Now we're talking..."
Nila cut in, "Something that public might get us arrested if we sabotaged something like that. And it's not like we have the supplies to pull off something that big. Cutting off the festive lights, mini cherry bombs in the food stands or even haunting allusions... Wouldn't that be considered desturbing the public?"
"Hey, angel, are you in or are you out? It's not like we'll get caught or do something that bad. Plus, it's not such a bad idea to get a reputatation here with the proof of scaring hundreds of people, chicken." Daryl scoffed.
"I'm just not going to be stupid about it and get something on my perminent (TOTALLY spelled that wrong) record, AND get an F. I just don't want anyone to go too far or slip up or whatever." Nila countered with minor irritation.
"Oh, Nila you're absolutely right... We don't want the authorities to run a blazing on the whole thing... We just might have to do something to make them run off with their tails between their legs as well.." Danny said mischieviously.

  • Raven and Zero watched the three argue in complete silence. All of them had good points and taking a side would probably spell trouble for the group. Before the two could add in their oppinions to the argument, the teacher came over to their group with a smirk on his face.
"So, it looks like group eight is getting along nicely." He told them. "From what I could see and overhear from my desk."
A mischievous glint was in his cool, blue eyes and Raven wondered if he had possibly overheard parts of their conversation.
"I'm grading everyone on their project and their teamwork. The actual project doesn't matter so much to me, I just want to see drama within the groups. Why do you all think that I paired people who don't get along up? It would be dull if you all got to create your own groups."
Raven narrowed his eyes. He did not like the teacher at all. How could the guy care more about the groups then the actual project itself? Just what kind of teacher was he?
Mr Frost then directed all of his attention to Nila, Danny and Daryl. "I can't wait to see how you three will get on! Raven and Zero used to fight a lot too and then boom! They somehow get along now! Teamwork is the key so try not to fight too much, ok? I do love drama though!"
Zero smiled at what the teacher was saying. Though Mr Frost seemed to be trying to piss everyone off, he also was getting a point across; teamwork. In order to complete the project there needed to be teamwork.

  • (I, I can't... Omg... What a teacher. I just cant lol)

You've got to be kidding me! Nila looked at the teacher like he was crazy. She looked at Zero and Raven on their opinion on this. She remained quiet but tense. Relief flooded over her as the bell rang for the next class. Springing like a popper, Nila grabbed her things and began to head out the door, not wanting to stay with the negative presence any longer.

  • The teacher watched Nila leave and he chuckled. "What an interesting young lady." He commented before turning to the four boys. "Anyway, the other groups have already decided what to do their project on so you guys better make up your minds fast."
Raven nodded and gathered his gear before heading to his next class. Mr Frost asked Zero to be held back for a bit and he told him, "Careful, I suspect that someone in your group may not be normal."
Before Zero could question further, the teacher went off to speak to some other students.
'Not normal huh... Maybe like me.' The silver-haired teen thought before also heading to his next class.

  • Soon enough it was lunch time, and as usual, Nila was sitting alone in the branches of an oak (Cuz i gave up on the search for a more original climbing tree) in hopes to find solace there. She didn't want to see the jocks and she especially didn't want to run into Danny again; there were just so many things off about him... Nila pulled her knees up to her chest as she rested her back on the trunk of the tree, pondering the new projects subject. What happened to Raven? He looked as though he were going dark or something... Zero looked quite worried. What is with this town? Moments later she saw Danny in the lunch line, about to confront Zero if he was alone.

  • Zero was indeed by himself and he seemed quite lost in thought. Raven had gone off by himself after class and hadn't replied to any text messages that Zero sent. He was probably fine and snoozing somewhere before the next class. He worked nightshifts as a delivery boy and it made him pretty tired.
'I need to start taking naps to, I think.' Zero thought before moving some white hair out of his eyes. 'I haven't told Raven about my job yet. I don't want him to get involved though.'
The teen shook his head and grabbed a juice box but no food while in the lunch line.

OOC: Can't remember if Raven has a job or not but I just gave him one*shrugs*
I'm not so sure how lunch lines work (we don't have them here in Australia I don't think) but I did my best. :)

  • [You live in Australia? That's freaking amazing! It's basically when there is a "buffet table" like counter where kids line up with trays and go down the counter and get different ladle sized portions of food or different kinds of food from people who work behind the counter. And you keep moving down till you got all you want and you reach the register where you pay for it. ]

Danny approached Zero like a sinister shadow, "Hello, Zero. How are things?" He asked conversationally. Danny wasn't intending to get lunch either but to discuss a certain topic to Zero. "You know you can't change Raven... He's meant to be something that you're preventing. He has a destiny that you're not part of." His voice was in low, chilling hisses so the other students couldn't listen in on their conversation. "So stay out of the way." The last sentence was in a threatening growl.

  • OOC: Oh! That sounds simple enough! :) Yep, I live in Australia which means that our time zones are probably different. (I'm at school now and it's the morning)

    IC:
Zero flinched when he noticed Danny come near. He really didn't like being around him. Silently, he listened to what the guy had to say and he felt anger burn away at his heart. The things that Danny was saying was so infuriating! People could change and Raven had but now he was reverting back to his old self. Zero had helped him change and now all the work that he had done was breaking away. Would Raven slip back into depression if he reverted back to his old self?
The teen glared at Danny and said in a calm voice, "I will stand by his side and I will get in your way if you even think about hurting him. I don't care what happens to me but as long as Raven is safe then I will be glad to fight you."
He wondered why Danny seemed so obsessed with Raven. Many people liked him because there was just something about him that attracted people to him but no one seemed as obsessed as Danny was.

  • [That's still pretty cool, I would normally say Happy Thanksgiving since that's today in America but you guys don't celebrate that, but whatever)

Danny gave a sneer of laughter, "Me? Hurt Raven? Please! It's you and everyone else I would be worried about." After calming down from his dark chuckles in amusement to Zero's statement he looked Zero dead in the eye with his icy blue eyes, "I'll see you around, Zero. Good luck with the project." He laughed and continued on his way.

From a distance Nila blinked in wonder what that was all about. She gazed around to see if Raven was around. After seeing no sign of him she climbed down the tree to timidly confront Zero to find out what the fuss was about.

  • OOC: I wish that we did celebrate that and Halloween too! Some people (but not many) celebrate Halloween here but my family doesn't. *shrugs*

    IC:
If Zero had been anyone else then he would have flipped Danny the bird but he was more sensible than that so he just glared until he could no longer see him. He was sure that he had to be much more careful for now on. If Danny didn't want to hurt then what did he want to do to him? Whatever it was, it couldn't be good.
A dull, throbbing pain caught Zero's attention and he immediately put a hand to his right shoulder. Right, it was just about time to change his bandages and reapply the healing ointment that had been given to him. He was used to getting injured and it happened a lot in his job. His job was not like most jobs and he was not allowed to tell anyone what he did after school. This became troublesome at times.
Before he could head off to find somewhere with no people, his attention fell on Nila.
"Hi." He merely said before he relaxed and forced a smile on his face. "Are you ok?" She looked a bit concerned or something.

  • (Ugh! I replied to this I swear! And then the freaking computer crashed when i did!)

Nila's eyes showed concern for Zero, "I just saw Danny was over here and you looked pretty upset... What was he talking to you about?" She wondered where Raven usual went since she noticed he had a particular interest for Raven. Though there was nothing quite right about Zero as well, but he has been kind so far so Nila continued to trust him... Since he and Raven are all she had.

  • OOC: My old laptop used to crash a lot!

    IC:
"Just... Nothing. Don't worry about it." Zero told her. "It doesn't really concern you anyway and I can deal with it."
He hated making his problems everyone else's problems. He preferred to do things by himself anyway.
His sky-blue eyes looked saddened for a second before he forced himself to cheer up. Things would work out in the end. Well, he hoped they would at least.
"Do you want to come find Raven with me? He's probably snoozing on the roof."

Zero was right about one thing; Raven was on the roof but he wasn't asleep. He sneaked up there pretty often to be alone and he had never been caught by a teacher before.
He was on his phone playing a game to pass the time. A lot was on his mind and he preferred to think while playing games.

  • "The roof?" Nila followed Zero to where ever their destination awaited them. After the scene with Danny and Zero played out before Nila she started to grow a head ache and seemed to get worse as the day went on but she didn't say anything. It was weird... Every time before she moved... Before the bad things happened... She would always get intensifying migraines. Is something going o happen like last time?

  • OOC: This is like one of the only threads I still reply to... that's so cool!

    IC:
Zero lead Nila to the roof with ease. It wasn't hard to get up there. All you had to do was find the right door that contained stairs leading up to the place and get by unnoticed.
"If I'm ever away then can I trust you to look after Raven? He's a bit..." The white-haired teen searched for the right word as they went up the stairs. "Misguided. He's a good person deep down but he's stuck in... Umm... What's a good example? Oh! It is like he's trapped in the darkness and he just needs to find his light. Something like that."
Zero knew that he couldn't always be around to protect Raven but he believed that Nila could help. Something about her seemed... good. It was as if she was special but Zero could not place why.
Since he was so distracted and worrying over Raven, he did not notice anything different about Nila. If he had then he would have fussed over her like a mother hen.

  • "Well I guess I'll look out for him... But I can't promise you that he'll let me... What do you mean he has some sort of darkness? Does he have bad history or something?" Reaching for her necklace that held a copper key with a golden jewel at the center of the interlaced handle. Fiddling with it the metal, Nila knew that Raven was not like anyone else, nor was Zero. The way he disappears and has some form of history with this school. Though he may not be the most popular, that could be understandable at a school but they way Zero managed to become "best friends" with Raven was hard to believe. Raven always keeping to himself, analyzing things now and possibly from the past. What did he have to hide? Why was he so closed up? Or was that just how he viewed the world? A place not to be trusted or thriving with idiots. Then there was Danny... There were several mysterious jerks out in the world but Danny was something else: he possessed that look like everything was playing the way he wanted, holding an ace up his sleeve of some sort, eyes that could make you succumb to your greatest fear... Then the teacher last period, what was up with him? If anyone was in sync with the activities of this school it was him. Before theymade it to the door to meet up with Raven she looked at Zero, "Zero? What is with this school?"

  • Zero remained silent for a while. It was true that Raven had a bad history and he had once been in the wrong place at the wrong time while Zero was doing his 'job'. Raven's memory of that had been erased but Zero knew that with a little effort, he would be able to recover the memory. Aside from that, Raven had once been in such a deep state of depression that Zero could sense it. He had to help him so he started hanging around him and slowly, very slowly, Raven accepted Zero. There was more to it than that but that was partly why they were such good friends. That and the fact that both had lost their parents.
"I can't tell you much about Raven or about this school." Zero told Nila, a serious expression on his face. "All I can tell you is to not try and dig into anything too far. You might not like what you find and any information you gather might endanger your life."
The school was not normal, that was for sure. Most of the teachers were just not normal like Mr Frost, though Zero was full-aware of his condition. Their history was linked.
"Don't get involved and stay in the clear. There are many things you still don't know and it's best to keep it that way."
He could say all that but he himself happened to have gotten too curious and had gotten mixed up with problems that would change his life forever. He was no longer just a normal human being but he was no fantasy creature either.
