• Nila caught Raven's look of some defense briefly before looking at Zero. Feeling slightly defeated at Raven's snappy answer she didn't give up trying to at least get him to say more than a single sentence. "Um, Gymnastics." She replied to Zero in some hesitation. They were almost at the class room when Nila's heart stopped as she saw someone from her new neighborhood. The tall, athletic male had made it clear how much she didn't belong in greeting when she moved in. Feeling the bruise on her rib cage she remembered seeing him with his gang as she walked outside her house the night they moved in. Not knowing what she would be like and knowing her vulnerable state of being new, he had 'taught her a lesson' if she ever told anyone about his gang and that she should leave while 'her body was still in the condition it is'. Fear pierced into her heart when she saw him walk into the exact room they were going to.

• "Gymnastics is pretty fun. That's one of the sports that I'm good at. And running, I'm good at that too." Zero replied, glad that Nila was able to have a conversation with them. Raven hardly ever talked so this was a big change for Zero who actually had someone who would give more worded answers. He tried to think of a way that he could make Raven say something in the conversation but his mind came up blank.
Zero tensed when he noticed the change in Nila's posture. She seemed to be looking at someone intensely...
The white-haired male's eyes narrowed as he took in the guy's features. He was tall, a lot taller than Zero and Raven were. He didn't look weak either and it seemed that in a fight he would be a hard foe to take down.
"Stop."
The word snapped Zero to attention and his sky-blue eyes went over to Raven. "You're holding us up. We need to go in class now, both of you." Well, at least he didn't seem to be ignoring Nila.
Raven acted like he didn't notice both Nila and Zero looking at the guy but he had noticed straight away. He mentally decided to keep watch over the two from now on just in case.

OOC: Can we make it that the guy also bullied Zero? That would make things more interesting. :)

• Absolutely

Nila almost jumped out of her skin when Raven finally spoke. She looked back at the class room before hesitating to walk in. When Zero seemed to tense Nila wondered what he knew about him, or if he was harrassed as well by this muscular man. With Raven's snappy instructions she remembered that he very well might not care or notice their tensity, but she said nothing. Sitting at a desk in the back she avoided the eyes of the muscular man who noticed their presense.

• Zero quickly followed after Nila and sat down next to her, his sky-blue eyes darting around the room anxiously. He did not have a good history with any of the guys at school, excluding Raven. This was mostly because he refused to standby while someone was being bullied and because of that, Zero had become a bit of an outcast in school. He also defended himself when someone picked a fight with him but he never outright attacked anyone, even his bullies. He had decided, long ago, that you should get the right to be able to defend yourself in a fight even if that meant getting into trouble later.
Raven sat down on the other side of Zero, not yet trusting Nila or thinking of her as a friend yet.
"Hey Nila, why did you move here exactly? There are far better places to live than here." Zero asked the girl, trying to avert his mind from a few bad memories that were threatening to come up. "If you don't mind me asking." Crime was common around this place.

OOC: Does the town that they live in have a name? If not then we could make one up! That would be awesome! :) And the school too!

• "We couldn't keep a house so we were always on the road to search for sustainable jobs... My dad finally got a reasonable job here for now and we are staying with my aunt to avoid rent payments in an apartment of our own." Nila noticed the jocks talking about her and her association with Zero and Raven. She ignored them in hopes to discourage their determination to shake her confidence. She kept a safe distance in communication with the public and hoped that she could pass to her next class fast enough in safety from the threatening gang member and discriminating cheerleaders. "So Zero, how long have you ived here?"

• Zero silently listened to what the girl was saying with a small frown. He too had come to this city because his foster parents could not find suitable jobs anywhere else. Paying rent had been a struggle for them in their old town but they had worked hard. While this was happening, Zero started joining chat sites on the internet at his old school and he soon made friends with someone who had the username: RK. They kept writing to each-other and playing online games and soon they began telling each-other about their daily lives. After about a year, Zero told RK about his foster parents trouble with money and RK suggested to him to convince them to move, hence why Zero was here today. He later met 'RK' in person whose real name was Raven Kurai. He turned out to be very different in person but interesting.
Somehow, Zero felt like he still owed Raven for helping him and his family out and he had yet to return the favor.
"Well, look on the bright-side." Zero told Nila, a friendly smile on his face. "You're not living on the streets and you now have us!" Maybe by helping Nila, Zero could also save someone like Raven had for him.
And to answer her question, Zero replied, "Oh, not long! I came here at the end of last year."
Zero often wondered if he would be living on the streets without Raven's help, maybe that's why he looked up to him so much.

Raven decided not to enter their conversation but he did feel a bit annoyed. Everyday it was just the same thing. Get swamped by girls, see his people who got near him being bullied, meet some random person and, feel utterly bored. Why couldn't something new happen in his life?
He may not have known it then but that thought might have just sealed his fate.

OOC: So are you going to RP the character who turns Raven? If so then that would be awesome! Oh, but I'm not trying to rush things! :D

• OOC: Yeah, sorry for taking so long ^^" Also I'm going to have Nila change in character in the future; she won't be as timid, more independent and tough. But you know, not too much. If you have any suggestions for my characters don't hesitate to ask

Nila looked to Raven, not wanting him to fee excluded, "How long have you lived here, Raven?"
One of the guys that usually intimidated people to talk was listening on the conversation but didn't look at them to hide his smirk as he shook his head in pity. He doesn't belong with them... If only he knew what power he is possessing, he could look down at everyone. Never fear Raven... I shall show you your true potential... The icy blue of the eyes of the dark haired boy in the near front of the class room narrowed along with a hidden grin.

• OOC: It's ok, I never rush people to RP since I know how busy things can get with school and everything. I was pretty busy last week anyway but now I'm on holidays which is awesome!
So this vampire guy looks like Raven then? (Raven has light-blue eyes and black hair) Awesome! I guess I should describe Raven's hair-colour as more of a black-blue colour in the future :)

And I guess my characters might change in the future too after certain events, but that's pretty normal.

IC:
"Five years." Raven replied without giving any more information then that.
Nila didn't have to know his whole life story of moving to family to family ever since he was orphaned a few years ago. Ever since he was a baby actually, to be more exact.
He had no reason to give her that information, he didn't trust her yet.
Suddenly, Zero's phone began to ring. It had an almost silent ringtone that was so quiet that only himself, Raven and Nila could hear it ringing.
Confusion was written all over Zero's face and he fished his phone out of his pocket, checking the caller ID.
He then started to look concerned but he didn't answer the call. Instead he waited until the ringing stopped and then he received a text message which he opened and read.
"Sorry guys, I need to go home. Stick together for today, ok?" Zero told Raven a Nila before he got out of his seat and rushed off.
The teacher didn't seem to mind when he left, this was normal anyway.
Raven let out a sigh and silently agreed to stick with Nila. Zero would not be happy if he ditched her.

The teacher clapped his hands together and stood up from his seat before he set down a book that he had been reading. He decided that now was the time to start class.
"Alright, alright. Let's start today off by introducing our new student." The man, who looked pretty young to be a teacher, said.
He gestured to Nila and winked at her which is how he actually introduced every new student. He was definitely one of the most strange and fun teacher to have.

• (Didn't intend to make it look like him lol. I'm so psychic! But his hair is more of a dark crimson.)

Fear pierced her heart when Zero said he was leaving them, knowing he was the only comfortable form of contact with Raven. But she remained stoic with her appearance and nodded a good by to Zero. She glanced at Raven and made a promise, "I'll try not to be a bother."

With the teacher's cue she turned her attention to him before timidly standing up. His wink gave her some confidence to speak just loud enough for a majority of the class to hear, "Um... Hi, my name is Nila..." She avoided the eyes of the female groups, knowing their intuition of her association with Raven. One man in general that had a particularly sinister feel; the crimson, icy-eyed boy.

I'll try to add more later if I can get a hold of wifi. I'll be traveling across the country this week so I won't be able to reply often. I would add more to this but I have to go! The rest of my fall break will be from thurs-sun so I'll be able to rp then (next week)

• (k! :) )

Raven glanced at Nila for a few seconds before his gaze moved to the teen with crimson hair and cold eyes that looked much like his own. He was actually slightly interesting since Raven had noticed him looking at him before, he had made no move to show that he had noticed it before though.
'What's his name?' Raven thought, a bit annoyed by the fact that he used to rely a lot on Zero for names and such instead of finding out on his own. He just wasn't very good with talking to other people that he didn't care about at all.
His sky-blue eyes lingered on the mysterious boy for a few seconds before they were directed back at Nila, the person who he had to protect for Zero.

The teacher smirked when the new girl was able to at least say her first name and he clapped. "Welcome Nila! Don't let anyone mess with you, ok? I expect great things from you, especially if you're hanging out with the 'ice prince' himself!" The teacher told her which made many other students scowl. "Stick with Raven and Zero, alright? Those two boys might end up needing you more than you need them, alright?"
Again the teacher clapped to get everyone's attention. "Ok, and my name is Reaper Frost by the way! I'm not just a science teacher, I'm also a history teacher and a lot more!"

OOC: You get to travel? Awesome! There's no rush to reply so don't worry, I hate rushing people! I hope that you have a good time! :D

• Seeing the mysterious guy look away from Raven Nila sat down and looked at Raven for any expression of recognition, "Who is that?" She asked in a slight whisper not to disturb the class. Just looking at the crimson-haired boy she sensed there was something odd about him... Something bad. But she never straight out judged someone, but the way he gave that knowing look at Raven had something mischievous about it

• Raven shrugged when Nila asked him who the guy looking at him was. He honestly had no idea but he had seen him around before, just not enough to know him by name. He had never seen him around Zero either so he never had a reason to approach him before.
'Now that I think about it... Zero always made us sit far away from him. So maybe he does know who he is. I'm going to have to ask Zero about him soon.' The black-haired teen thought with a slight frown and with his brow creased.
"Alright class!" Mr Frost said, grabbing everyone's attention. "Today you guys will be doing a group research project and you will all continue this in the next few lessons with me and in your own time. Now, I have picked the groups but don't worry! Most of you will be with your friends!" He grinned and started calling out names and putting people together until he said "And last but not least, group eight!"
The teacher pointed to Nila, then Raven, then the student with crimson-hair and then the guy that Nila had been tense about before. "You four along with Zero will be group eight, alright? Good!"

OOC: Haha, I made a way to add in some more conflict!

• OOC: Sneaky

Tension rose in Nila as the names were called. Seeing the two troubling teens glance their way, she knew that this was going to be anything but productive. 'This school will be different' they said... 'It'll be fun' they said... Making way to their desks they were prepared to discuss the project... And other things. The gang member smirked at Nila smugly, "Hey, neighbor. Hope you haven't gotten into too much trouble on your first day of school." His grin was taunting and his eyes mischievous.

Being assigned to Raven's group made the red-haired boy smirk, this is too easy. He got up and walked over to sit at the desk next to Raven. Nila shifted her unsure gaze from the muscular jock to the sinister character, Danny. He flashed her a dark look that brought a wave of chills down her back, almost as if it was a warning, but she wasn't sure. She looked at Raven with an uneasy look.

• OOC: :D

IC:
Raven really didn't like group projects. He preferred being alone and he didn't mind doing extra work. He was intelligent though his grades were nothing extraordinary since he never saw the point in trying to study hard. What was the point in doing good in school anyway? He didn't have a certain job in mind that he wanted after school ended so there really was no point achieving great grades. It was a total waste of time.
As the two other students came over he really was dreading doing this 'group project' thing. He wasn't much of a talker or a leader so he wasn't going to take charge of this assignment. He was sure that karma hated him since Zero was not around to take charge, even if there was a slight chance that he wouldn't do it either.

Sky-blue eyes slowly went over to see what the teacher was doing since he usually seemed to be on his phone instead of teaching the class.
On the board in black it said 'choose ANYTHING to do your project on'. So pretty much this group thing was free choice. Great, just great.
As Raven had thought, Mr Frost was sitting on his desk, yes ON his desk, and he was on his phone. What a surprise.
He directed his attention back to his group members. Well, more like total strangers.
The jock seemed to be smirking like an idiot (in Raven's opinion), and there seemed to be some tension or something between Nila and the mysterious guy. Great.
Raven really was going to make Zero stay whenever he had to go off to wherever or maybe ask him about that. He had never asked before since Raven respected Zero and trusted him but his random 'leaving school' was getting rather irritating.
"Nila, are you ok?" Raven asked, trying to stay focused. He mentally promised to look after the new girl for Zero and he would do that.

• Raven's question of concern visibly surprised Nila, "Um, I-I'm fine..." she said in a small voice, knowing they had an opposing audience. The jock named Daryl observed Raven in surprise, "He speaks! I always thought you were too good for everyone to even acknowledge their existence," he scoffed before looking at Danny, "And who are you suppose to be?" Danny's cold eyes pierced into Daryl's, "Wouldn't you like to know." His voice was cold and venomous. They were not his concern, his target was Raven. But since they were grouped together he had to play along to some extent. "My name is Danny." He moved the hood off of his head, it becoming uncomfortable to him, his hair was a dark red like blood and turned more bright with the light over his head.

• Raven ignored the jock's comment, though he did want to make some snarky comeback. If he did then it might spark a fight with the jock and he was in no mood for one.
The dark-haired teen moved his attention to 'Danny', now knowing his name. Wait... Hadn't he heard that name from Zero before? No, he couldn't have... right? Or maybe he had but he hadn't been paying attention at the time. Still, Danny seemed like a mysterious person so Raven decided to be slightly on his guard around him, just in case he turned out to be someone dangerous though he doubted it.

A group of girls rushed over once Danny took his hood off and they squealed in delight. "You're so gorgeous, I can't believe that we didn't realize earlier!" They said in unison. "Is your hair naturally red? You're just as handsome as Raven!"
This certain group of girls were not too bad since they didn't ask Raven out or stalk him, only casually come over time to time. They still got annoying at times but at least they were nice and they didn't scorn Zero.

• Irritation began to show on Danny as he turned to look at the girls, knowing just how to scare them, "You want to know how my hair got so red?" They nodded in interest, "Have you heard the news recently about people disappearing?" Instantly their eyes widened and they hurried off, leaving Danny with a grin of victory and amusement. "Gullible, giggling feather brains..." he mumbled. Daryl couldn't help but laugh, "Dude, what is wrong with you two? Having girls practically worshiping you is something you should be taking advantage of."

Nila turned her brown eyes to him before looking away and said in a quiet sigh of annoyance, "Maybe they think more with their brains than with their hormones. Not everyone can be an ass like you..." She mumbled the last part, hoping he didn't hear. Daryl's face turned to anger as he looked at Nila, barely detecting her insult, "Excuse me, b****?" Eyes widening with fear she was ready to jump out of her chair if she had to flee out of instinct.

• Raven had to admit that Danny knew just how to scare people off. Maybe if he stayed with him then the more crazier girls would be scared off too. A fogginess seemed to have clouded his mind and as soon as he realized it, he snapped out of it. That was odd... It was so unlike him to have have a clouded mind.
The dark-haired teen rolled his eyes at Daryl's comment about taking advantage of the girls. It just wasn't right to do that to people who liked you. Taking advantage of other people's affection was a horrible thing to do which is what made popular people like Raven a lot different from the jocks of the school.

Raven came to full attention once Daryl called Nila a b**** but just before he was about to say or do anything, Zero entered the class in a rush. Mr Frost nodded to him and briefly told him about the group project before the white-haired teen came over and sat in a spare seat with the group.
"Sorry for running out, it wasn't that urgent so I got to come back." He told mostly Raven and Nila, not minding if the other two heard. "And don't ask, please." It's then that he noticed just who was in the same group. The bully, Daryl and the one guy who Zero could tell was not good to hang around, Danny. Out of the two, Danny was who Zero was the most guarded around. Something wasn't right about him, he could feel it which is why he tried his best in the past to keep Raven away from him, just in case.

OOC: Maybe Danny, since he is a vampire, could have the quality to make people want to be near him which is why Raven's mind keeps getting clouded, because he unintentionally is resisting it.

• Vampire eh? Not some weird possessive demon, alright. I'm cool with that

Never has Nila been more relieved to see anyone in her life as Zero walked in, disrupting the tension that could have escalated to violence. Daryl glared at Nila before shifting his attention to Zero. Danny looked up from his seat at Zero with half a smirk of mocking welcome. Inside Nila was trembling, which is one thing she hated about herself. Being so weak and defensless made her an easy target for everyone, she swore that she would change, that she would be able to take care of herself... But here she was, mentally cowering behind Raven and Zero for protection. Clenching her jaw she tried to relax a little as Zero sat between (danny?) and Raven. "Now that that is over, what are we going to do for our project?" Danny asked in his care-free tone.

• OOC: Oops! I thought he was a vampire! Sorry! He can be a demon since he's your character and all! :'( I assumed wrong! Demons are just as awesome as vampires anyway. :) Oh man, I'm pretty dumb.

IC:
Zero really didn't like being so close to Danny, he made his skin crawl. He also felt a bit sick in the stomach and waves of fear were swirling up inside him. Normally, Zero was unafraid of even the most scariest or mean of people but Danny was a different story. The guy just wasn't right somehow.

Raven started focusing his thoughts on the project and he was thinking of something good to do that would take little effort yet be interesting to do. Maybe something supernatural or spiritual? He was into that kind of stuff and so was Zero which led them to be friends in the first place. Those topics didn't seem so good for a science project though.
"Fear." Raven finally replied. "It's something that many people experience on a daily basis and it would be a fun topic to do since we get to scare a bunch of people, our test subjects."
Zero really did not want to do that topic since Danny and Daryl were involved. He always tried to be a great friend though so he would go along with it. He just hoped that Nila would be able to cope though. She looked a bit... upset.
