Briarstar left to go back to her kits. Rowan was young, but still needed milk. She hoped that Rowan wouldn't be shy. She crept back into the nursery and lay down with Foxkit and Beekit. "How are my kits?" She asked. Foxkit squeaked.

(I thought RowanKit was old enough to eat mice because FlameFur already gave her a mouse and some prey…)
BeeKit yawned curling up again.
FlameFur purred catching her little tail in his paw as if he had caught her and she needed to attack. FlameFur enjoyed the kits company and it made the tom less grumpy.

Foxkit Rolled out of the warmth of her mother. She scrambled about, but she couldn't see. I wonder what it feels like to see. She thought, and, at a avery early age, opened her eyes for the first time. The world was so big, and it was just the nursery. Briarstar looked at Foxkit. She truly was beautiful, and had beautiful eyes too. "Grayfoot, come here a moment. Foxkit's opened her eyes!" She whispered. Grayfoot stepped into the nursery. "Oh, blue eyes, like yours!" He mewed cheerfully. "Don't disturb her." Briarstar meowed.
