    Shade rolled over onto her stomach as she woke up, the light from the sun filtered through holes in the ceiling, and she slowly blinked her eyes open. Yawning, Shade stretched and padded out of the den.

    Elk was out hunting and had been since dawn. He had caught 3 fawns and a large doe so far. The young wolf grabbed the doe by its leg and started tugging it back to camp.
