Hardcore nodded. "Indeed I did," he meowed, glancing up as well. "Not exactly shy, is he? It was his idea to rest, and he just got here." The ginger tom chuckled. "Quite like his mother in that aspect, I think."

  • Sulepis Bishakh am-Xis III + Amirah Akivell

Amirah smiled and nodded. "Yeah, she was really close to him, although he was not hers by birth nor relation." She settled to a sit and curled her tail over her paws. "He'll grow on you though, father, I promise. He's so... I just can't describe him, i suppose? He's certainly odd." Amirah twitched her whiskers gently and kept her orange gaze fixed on her brother for a while before looking to her father. "So, how was the Afflictions after my mothers Veruchise and Memento left?"

  • The black pup whimpered as he padded through the Affliction's territory. Where was he, exactly? He wasn't very sure. One moment his mother, his father, and the rest of his siblings were there, and then the next they were gone. What had happened to them, he would never know.

  • [align=center] Hardcore sighed. His eyes clouded over with worry. "If you were any other cat, I'd say that these cats are coping well. But you are my daughter, and... If you cannot trust your own kin, who can you trust?" He looked at her hopefully, praying that she understood. "We've fallen into disarray, Amirah. Fights have become commonplace- makes my job more difficult, for sure- and cats have left, some without so much as a parting word. I fear that without a Leader, we shall not survive the next leaf-fall. But..." He trailed off, wondering if his daughter was the best cat to discuss this with. But he'd come too far to turn back now. "I don't think even that will be enough. Memento held this place together." He gestured at their surroundings. "The cats, the territory. A new leader might reunite the cats, but only I think only Memento could hold them here. I think... I think we need to leave. Find a new home."

  • [align=center] OOC: S'all good :) I'd make a legit post but I'm exhausted. I've been varying degrees of I'll since August, and might be going to the doctor to get that checked out because I almost passed out yesterday O.o

So I've been inactive, and will probably continue to be, but will hopefully pop on if I feel up to it.
