Running in the grass (Open loner roleplay/ Jump in!)

OOC: OMG! I think my post didn't go through! I am so sorry! And I thinK Mixfur is gone, so I am just going to replace her.

IC: "Alright...", Voyai said worriedly.

Sarlai (Sare Lie), had watched the entire battle between the two cats. She was a normal sized, white she-cat. She had splotches of multiple shades of brown that ran around her body. (Think almost like a calico.) Dusky silver eyes calmly regarded the world. She had longer fur. She followed Kizuato, and hid. She saw Voyai, and froze when he looked right at her. Their eyes locked. Voyai got up, and walked over to the piece of underbrush she was behind, and lay down in front of it. It did in fact provide some good shade.

"Who are you?", Voyai asked.

"Uhhh...my name is Sarlai, but most just call me Sara...", Sara said. She found she couldn't move.

"My name is Clairvoyance. You can call me Voyai. Would you like to eat? We have food, and you look hungry.", Voyai said.

"Th-thanks...", Sara replied. She tentatively stepped out of the underbrush, and went to the pile. She looked back at Voyai. "Are you sure?" Voyai nodded. She picked up a vole, and then padded up next to Voyai, and lay down in the shade next to him. Voyai, not one to ever feel awkward, regarded her silently. Sara was too busy filling her stomach to talk.

OOC: My god... XD It's been WAY too long. If ur post didnt go through i understand XD I just thought everyone abandoned me lol.

IC: Kizuato woke up when he heard something near the fresh kill. He slowly got up and poked his head out of his bush. He noticed Voyai and another cat sitting in the shade. The she-cat was eating one of the voles he caught the day before. He slunk out the back of the bush and around the clearing to behind Voyai and the other cat. "Well, Voyai. Who's this?" he asked chuckling then winced at the mental and physical pain that shot through him from his recent battle with and the death of Shi, his own brother.

"Her name is Sara.", Voyai said. Sara looked up a Kizuato.

"Technically, my name is Sarlai. Everyone just calls me Sara. I saw you fighting that other cat. I followed you back after, to see what you did. Then Voyai here spotted me. Is it just now or is he always polite?", Sara asked. Voyai smiled and chuckled lightly.

"Most of the time he's nice. Accept when you make him angry. Then you wish you were never born." Kizuato chuckled. He stepped out from the bushes and sat down on the other side of Sara, licking his front leg where a large gash was. His other ear had been torn in the fight, and now he had half ears on both sides. He flicked his tail and looked up to the sky. "Am I the only one who wishes they could fly up there... And just feel the clouds?" he asked to no cat in particularly.

"Nope...", Sara and Voyai said in perfect unison. They looked dumbly at each other and then burst out laughing. Sara saw something in Voyai, something that fit done strange reason made her instantly trust him. And Kizuato, she saw a loyal tom, willing to fight for what he care for. And then there was the little kit. It seemed like a very out of place family, but a family none the less. Having been abandoned at birth, and mothered by a wild cat into she was able to fend for herself, Sara had never really had a family. She didn't know of it was coincidence or Fate that brought her to this group, but she wanted in. Realizing she was shivering, for she was sick, she snuggled up close to Voyai, enjoying the warmth that radiated off him. "Would you mind if I came with you guys, wherever you are going?" Voyai sensed her sickness, and felt her shivering, and put his tail over her.

"Kizuato, she is sick. We need to get some medicine...", Voyai said quietly.

Kizuato stood. He padded to Voyai and whispered in his ear. "Don't worry. I'll be back. There might be dogs around, they were coming to where me and Shi fought last time I heard them. I'll try to be fast." he darted off as fast as he could, wincing in slight pain, as soon as he was done whispering to Voyai. He got somewhat far from the clearing when he started to slow down. "Now, if I remember right, there should be some feverfew near here..." he said to himself out loud. He padded ahead a little ways until he scented something. "Great... Just when I thought I could have a break..." he said as he sniffed the air. The smell of wild dog lingered around where the feverfew was. "Well, here goes nothing..." he sighed as he darted to the feverfew, grabbing as much as he could before he could be attacked. "I'll catch up!" he yelled as he darted away into the dark, black, shadowy filled forest.

He quickly spun around and began to sprint towards the direction of the clearing. He saw a large tree and decided to go around it, attempting to lose the dogs. "Well, cmon then mousebrains!" he yelled looking behind him at the dogs as they gave chase. He dashed around the tree, heading away from the clearing. The howls and barks of the dogs could be heard from everywhere, along with the loud steps they made. Kizuato quickly turned and sprinted the the pack of now confused dogs. He dashed to the clearing, dropping the feverfew. "Here, now take Gatchi and Sara and get them somewhere safe! Tootsie too!" he ordered then spun to run back into the forest.

Voyai swept up Sara onto his strong back, and then did the same to Gatchi. He looked sadly at Tootsie.

"You are going to have to run...", he said. Then he sprinted away. Sara was amazed at how strong Voyai was.

"Thanks Voyai...", she whispered weakly.

Kizuato was running towards the group of dogs quickly, and prepared to meet the same fate as Shi. He was injured, let alone out numbered and had low energy. "For Gatchi, Voyai, Tootsie, and even though I just met her, Sara too... I at least gotta try and hold these things off while they get away..." he said to himself quietly. He and the dogs met eventually, and Kizuato stared at the largest one of the pack. Okay... Take out the biggest one, and they should run away... he thought to himself. He quickly lunged at the largest dog, biting its neck and making them tumble to the ground. He clawed at another dog that tried to bite him, and then went back to the larger one. He clawed the face of the large dog, making it howl loudly in pain and anger.

"This should be easier than I expected..." he said. He quickly turned to a dog that lunged at him from behind, clawing its side as it missed him. He smirked, but shortly afterwards was bit in the back by a fourth dog. He let out a gut wrenching hiss then yowl of pain and he squirmed around, blood dripping into the dogs face. The dog let go, and Kizuato scrambled away, only to be met with another dog, who this time, bit him on the foreleg of his left leg. He screamed in pain again, this time louder. He clawed this dog in the eyes, blinding it. He lunged at it, killing it with a bite to the neck. He spun as well as he could, as he saw a new group of dogs coming from some bushes, seemingly to assist the other pack.

But, to his surprise, the new group of dogs leaped one by one onto the other pack, taking them down quickly, leaving a few to scramble away. They turned and snarled and growled at Kizuato. He stood glaring at them, challenging them to attack. "Let's go... Kill me... Fox dung..." he called to them, making them attack him, all at once. He then quickly moved out of the way of one, which sunk his teeth into another dog, killing it. Kizuato turned and sliced the dogs underbelly, letting guts spill on the ground. He froze in pain as a dog came from behind and bit off part of hit tail. "Gah! You stupid mousbrained piece of foxdung!" he turned and screamed at the dog in anger and pain. All he could see now was red, and all he could think was kill, kill, and kill.

He lunged at this dog, slicing its neck, then moved to another, slicing off on of its ears completely. "Now, you all die with me!" he yowled as loud as he could, slicing at each dog with unsheathed claws. He bit one in the flank, then turned to another, clawing his face, blinding the mutt and cutting off part of its ear. The rest of the remaining dogs howled, whined, and ran away, leaving the many dead bodies of their pack. Kizuato calmed down, and began to pad back to the clearing. He let out one, loud, gut wrenching scream of pain. "Voyai! They're gone! Come... Help... Me!" he let out a yowl, then collapsed to the ground, letting blood spill all around him. His fur was matted and he was covered in blood, just laying there unconscious.

IC: Voyai heard the scream. He raced back to the clearing, and then froze when he saw Kiz. Sara gasped. Voyai ran to Kiz and set Sara down. He gave her the feverfew to get rid of her sickness, and then focused on Kiz. Racing around the clearing, he began to collect all kinda of herbs and stuff, and then came back to Kiz he applied all the medicine, and sealed the wounds with cobweb. He say down and looked at his friend.

"You can make it Kiz...", he said. A lone tear rolled down his cheek. Sara appeared at his side, and wiped it off. She leaned against him, and looked sadly at Kiz. She licked Voyai a few times.

"He saved our lives Voyai. At least if he passes, it would have been for a good cause.", she said, attempting to reassure Voyai.

"I know...", Voyai replied. In the sadness of the moment, he twined tails with Sara, a decision that would change his life forever, for the better.

Kizuato squirmed around slightly, then coughed. "I finally" he coughed again. "thought I had a b-break..." he smirked then chuckled a bit. He attempted to stand, but, fell down with a thud and grunted in pain and agony. "Guess we won't be getting very far with me like this..." he looked up at Voyai. "Thanks for coming back..."

OOC: This time not so long of a post! XD

"No one gets left behind.", Voyai said. He looked down at Sara, their tails twined, her leaning on him for comfort. "No one." Sara looked at him, and strong emotions passed between their locked eyes. They knew that they had the same past, the same pain. Sara stretched her neck out and nuzzled his chest.

"A family united as one, we can overcome anything.", Sara said. She put a paw on one of Voyai's, and did the same to Kizuato.

OOC: Before you ask, Sara and Voyai knew each other from before, but they had been separated and both suffered from an amnesia attack. They forgot who the other was, but when they saw each other again, they found that they wanted to tell the other that they loved then. Sara and Voyai had travelled together, and had fallen for each other, but were too shy to say so. Now, they have a second chance.

Kizuato smiled slightly. He chuckled a bit then closed his eyes. He had slowed his breathing. His heart was moving slower than it should. He twitched a bit, and began to breath very heavily. "I had a g-good run... But, I think it's my time... To go to Starclan..." he said, his eyes closed and a small tear falling to the ground, re-mixing the dried blood and sand on the ground beneath him. His head began to slowly move down to his paws. Then it dropped. He lay there motionless, his head on his paws. His breath slowed more and more until it was nearly stopped. He coughed and opened his eyes quickly. "I'm up... Not going out like this..." he grunted through his gritted teeth.

He looked up at Voyai and Sara, then to where Gatchi and Tootsie were. "Voyai, mind carrying me to Gatchi?" he asked, now looking up at him with tear filled eyes. He and Voyai both knew he most likely wouldn't make it. He was still bleeding heavily through the cobwebs and his entire body ached. He wanted to scream, but he couldn't. He just looked at Voyai waiting for an answer.

Voyai made sure he was sleeping peacefully, and then walked into the shade with Sara. The looked at each other, their bodies pressed together, their tails re-twined.

"S-Sara...I don't know how I feel this way...but I love you. It feels like I have for the longest time.", Voyai said. Sara nuzzled him.

"I feel the same way...and I love you too.", Sara responded. Moving slowly and shyly, they pressed their lips together. They turned on their sides, and then snuggled in with each other, passionately kissing. Finally, they broke their kiss.

"I remember..." Voyai said.

"We once were..." Sara said. Drunk on love, they fell asleep together.

Kizuato looked at Voyai and Sara. Maybe he didnt hear me well? Whatever... I can have Gatchi come over here. he thought. "Gatchi... Come here..." he ordered politely, motioning for Gatchi with his tail, which now had its end bitten off.

Voyai awoke at Kizuato's words. He ran over to his friend, and then realized what he said. He got Gatchi and brought him to Kiz.

"You can't leave us...", Voyai said. Tears fell from his eyes.

"Well, I can't promise anything... But I'll do what I can. You are all gonna have to help me through this you understand that right?" he looked up at Gatchi and Voyai. He tried to stand, and staggered a bit. He caught himself and stood up. He stepped closer to Gatchi. He leaned down and licked his head. "You did a good job today. When Shi came, you did as instructed. That was the best thing you could've done." he told Gatchi, as he sat down next to him. He purred and looked at Voyai. "You. If I don't make it, you are taking care of Gatchi. I'm trusting you to keep him safe and out of trouble. Teach him to hunt, to defend himself, and raise him to be the best possible." as he finished saying this, his eyes rolled back into his head.

The world began to spin. "Gatchi, I think of you as my own kit..." Kizuato said as he collapsed to the ground in a heap. He was asleep. He was breathing, but slowly. He would be fine, but he needed rest and medical attention.

Voyai looked sadly at Kiz.

"Sara and I will become like parents to him...he can be an older brother if we ever have our own kits...I promise I won't let you down Kiz.", Voyai sobbed. He collapsed, crying. Sara walked up next to him, and pressed herself against him. "He is part of a family that I never had...and now he is dying!" These words came out in between sobs.

"We will wait this out together, my love. Through thick and thin.", Sara said, her own eyes welling up.

Kizuato's body just sat there, hid sides heaving with his loud, heavy breaths. He awoke suddenly. "I'm okay... Just a small pass out... That's all..." he said as he slowly pushed himself to his paws. He began to pad to his bush. He got half way there and fell down, scraping his face and side on the rough terrain. He tried to stand again.

Voyai shot up and helped Kiz to his bush.

"Lay down and sleep, Kiz. Rest up, but please wake up...please...", Voyai said. He walked back to Sara, and lay down next to her.
