OOC: Awesome to hear that! And, I think I know where to start...

IC: Kizuato woke up, he shivered in the brisk, winter air. It had been a long while Kizuato had been in a coma. His fur was matted, and he was struggling to keep his eyes open. The tom opened is mouth as if to speak, but no sound would come out. He made a slight groan as he plopped back down, his head resting on a pile of leaves. Sumoru heard his quiet groan and padded to the bush in which Kizuato was resting. "Kiz! You're awake!" Sumoru leaped towards him licking his face and head over and over, purring and flicking her tail in joy. Her ears quickly perked up as she ran to poke her head out of the bush. "He's awake! Everyone! Kizuato's awake! He woke up! Come see!" she yelped in excitement as she popped back inside and began to snuggle up to Kizuato again.

The tom lay still, accept for his face scrunched up in confusion. "W-what's going on? What's all the fuss about?" he asked confused, his tail flicking and a slight purr in his voice. "Well, you've been asleep for what seemed like forever! I missed you so much! I'm so glad you're awake!" the small she-cat replied purring loudly as she licked his face again and rubbed her head against his chest.

"Great, try not to bust his eardrum," Vindex said, sarcastically yet in good nature. She grabbed the bundle of leftover poppy seeds and carried them over to the rousing tom. "Take these only if you are in pain. If the injury is numb, they will only serve to make you exhausted. Are you in need of anything else?"

Broken nuzzled Mala's cheek briefly before standing up, stretching her toes out widely in contempt. "Should we start heading over? I'm sure the others are partly worried..." her whiskers twitched slightly in thought, but she smiled, showing that it wasn't a bad thought she had let cross her mind.

"Don't worry I'll make sure he only takes them when he needs to." Sumoru grabbed the poppy before Kiz could even open his eyes. The tom smirked a little bit at Sumoru's excited nature. He tried to stand, his legs wobbling and a few grunts came from his throat. "Settle down big guy, you just woke up! You shouldn't be trying to walk already!" Sumoru exclaimed as she quickly helped to support him. "There's work to be done. I'm awake, I can do something. Even the smallest thing can help right?" the tom argued as he started padding towards the exit of the bush.

Sumoru padded quickly beside him steadying him as he walked. Kizuato stood outside his bush and hissed loudly, scaring nearby birds out of the trees and causing a couple of mice to scurry away. The his wasn't a threatening hiss though, more of a hiss to announce his presence and to say that he was back to being part of the group that was in charge of the group. He began to pad towards where the kill pile should be. "Rather small isn't it..." his voice trailed off as he closed his eyes. The toms stomach growled as Sumoru replied, "Well, we haven't really had anyone to hunt. You normally were our main food supplier, and when you slipped off..." the she-cat fell silent suddenly, and she looked up at Kizuato, ashamed.

"Im sorry, I should've been the one hunting while you were out. It's my fault." Sumoru sighed. Kizuato twined his tail with hers. "No, don't be like that. Where's Gatchi? How's he been? Hopefully well behaved..." Kizuato craned his neck, looking around the clearing in search for his adopted son. "And Voyai and Sara's kits. Have they been born yet?" the tom had so many questions that he wanted answered.

OOC: Speaking of which, has anyone taken over for Gatchi yet? And as for Voyai's kits, yes no maybe so? XD

"No, I haven't sorry Broken," Sumoru answered her, smiling. "on the bright side of things, Kiz woke up, look!" The she-cat purred and rubbed her head against the toms chest. Kizuato licked the top of Sumoru's head and looked over at Broken. "We're about to head off hunting, would you like to come? Maybe we'll find Maladay out there. And, have you seen Gatchi at all recently? I want to see him, let him know I'm awake and all." the tom flicked his tail a few times and flicked his jagged, torn off ears. A loud rustle was heard coming towards the clearing. Suddenly, a dark but small form dashed through the bushes and tumbled and rolled all over the ground. Until it caught sight of Kizuato. "Kiz!" Gatchi yowled as the small tom-kit darted to Kizuato's feet and purred as he padded around him, rubbing up against the large tom's legs. "Sumoru and I are going hunting soon. Broken might come too. Would you like to tag along?" Kizuato smiled and asked the kit. "Of course! Oh boy, I remember the first time we went hunting Kiz, it was so much fun! Remember that big rabbit you caught? I wonder if you're gonna catch one like that again this time!" Gatchi continued to ramble as Kizuato chuckled and looked over at Broken. "So, you coming or not?"

Vindex looked back and forth between Broken and the others. She glanced with narrowed eyes at where Maladay had been lying previously. "I think I'll go along with you," she said slowly, suspicions roused. Before she turned around again, the she-cat swallowed a few of the remaining poppy seeds, her body covering her actions.

"Great. Glad to have you coming along. Could use some getting to know of everyone who is newer to me..." Kizuato chuckled as he said this. What the... Kiz is so different now that he's awake. Getting to know of everyone?! He's never been like this before, so caring and actually wanting to be social... My oh my how he's changed since that long sleep he was in... Sumoru thought as she looked suspiciously at her mate. Kizuato's eyes met her and he licked her face gently. "Well, shall we get going then?" the tom asked as he smiled, ready to go catch some vole, his favorite type of kill. "First, Kiz can I talk to you... In private?" the small she-cat asked him looking slightly down at her paws. "S-sure. Of course Sumoru," as they walked over to Kizuato's bush Sumoru spoke. "Kiz, listen... Do you remember before you went to sleep for that long time, when we were in the woods... And, well I think... I think I might be pregnant..." Sumoru spoke nervously, unsure of what her mates reaction would be.

Kizuato looked at Sumoru for a brief moment, then hurriedly licked her head and nuzzled his chest to her head. Their tails twined together, Sumoru silently listening to the toms heart beating with her head on his chest. "That's great. That means Gatchi will have someone to play with soon, and you get to lie around for a while. That sure sounds relaxing huh?" Kizuato looked down at the she-cat and their eyes met, his dark blue like the sea and hers green as the forest mid-spring. Kizuato licked Sumoru's face gently and they padded back towards the group of cats gathered in the clearing. "Well, let's get hunting!" the two said in symmetry.
