Wolfkinheart padded up into a good area to train in. He sat on the ground and began to lick his pelt. He was waiting for the two new apprentices he met that he was going to train.

Ligerpaw came bouncing after Wolfkinheart, ready to begin training. She loved to learn, but she could also be stubborn and reckless. Hopefully she would behave.

Woflkinheart smiled at Ligerpaw. "Should we wait for Turtlepaw before we start training?" he asked.

Ligerpaw nodded. "Yeah, I think we should.", she said.

"I agree," Wolfkinheart said.

Ligerpaw nodded. "So, tell me about yourself, Wolfkinheart.", she said. "When I become a warrior, I want to become Ligerheart, just like you!", she meowed excitedly.

Wolfkinheart smiled. He was beginning to really like Ligerpaw. "Well, I have another apprentice, besides you and Turtlepaw. His name is Mintpaw." Wolfkinheart sighed, and took a breath. "He should have been a warrior a long time ago, but he always is getting in to trouble and wasting time." Wolfkinheart wasn't sure if he should tell Ligerpaw about how he wanted to make Mintpaw upset.

"Mintpaw? Maybe he can join us.", she said.

"I doubt it. He is probably doing something stupid right now." Wolfkinheart said.

Ligerpaw laughed. "I used to be like that. But I've changed. I know he will too.", she said. She had changed, but she still did stupid things some times.

"Well I am proud of you! You will make a really good warrior some day," Wolfkinheart added.

Ligerpaw beamed. "Thanks, Wolfkinheart.", she said.

"You're welcome!" Woflkinheart said.

Turtlepaw padded into the clearing. "Hello?" She mewed.

"Hi, Turtlepaw! We're over here!", she called out to the other apprentice.

Turtlepaw smiled slightly and padded over to join Ligerpaw and Wolfkinheart. "Hi."

Ligerpaw smiled. "Ready to train?", she asked Turtlepaw.

Wolfkinheart nodded his head at Turtlepaw, glad that she had made it.

Turtlepaw looked around the clearing, as though wanting someone else to answer the question. "Uh..I..guess so..."

"It's okay Turtlepaw," Wolfkinheart said. "You don't need to be nervous, if you are," he encouraged her.
