Codepaw sat up and yawned again -
"I know this is strange, but do you have an apprentice," he asked.

Codepaw said "No i dont have a mentor.....why?......"

Sharktail slowly smiled. "Because I need an apprentice, do you want to train with me?" he asked.

Sharktail flicked his split in half tail. "Cool."

Codepaw jumped up and down to the thought of finally having a mentor then he saw sharktial's tail "what happened to your tail?" he asked

Sharktail hissed, thinking of his past. "When I was a loner," he began, hoping his apprentice wouldn't care that he wasn't clan-born. "I was in a fight with a wolf." he shuddered. "I barely got away with my life, but the wolf left me with this to remember him by," he chuckled. "Thats how I got my name."

"What do you want to do first?" Sharktail asked.

"Training!...what sdould we train first?" Codepaw asked
