    Hynoticgaze was awake. It was hot so it woke her up early. She was doing a sort of weird dance as she padded over the hot sand. Her goal was to get to this little stream. Her amber eyes narrowed as she padded along. Pausing under a palm tree she yawned and looked arouns the camp before she continued in and splashed into the strem. It felt so good.

    BrightSoul woke finding himself burning hot, it wasn't an abnormal feeling, but still, he rather not have it. Standing up and shaking his red pelt clean, he padded over to the dark tom-cat HeatHaze, who had been awake already. Prodding the black tom with a white paw, like normal HeatHaze was sunbathing on his back. Despite the fact HeatHaze was black furred he seemed to still like laying around in the sun. BrightSoul had never understood how the other tom could stand such heat like that, but he did. The tiger looking tom looked up to see HynoticGaze, she was splashing into the stream. "Does everyone wake up before me?" he mewed flicking one ear. "Almost." was his reply from HeatHaze, who was rather irritated at the fact BrightSoul was blocking his sun.

    JailBait sighed as she stretched to her paws, she had been trying to go back to sleep but it hadn't been working. JailBait silently padded into the sunlight and looked around, HeatHaze, BrightSoul, HynoticGaze... they were all already awake, JailBait felt a little embarrassed at waking up after everyone else. Shifting her paws on the hot sand, she walked over to the small stream and stuck her paws in. Silently staring at her feet.

    But Jailbait wasn't the last cat awake, for Sandstar was still sleeping in his den, fitfully, yes. He tossed and turned, his claws scrabbling around on the stone floor of his den.

    Hypniticgaze saw the Jailbait in the stream and she splashed over happily. Water went flying everywhere on both she-cats as she mewed brightly. "Good morning Jailbait!" Her voice light and happy.

    Sandstar finally awoke, breathing heavily. His heart raced faster than a mouse's, and he felt as if he were going to faint. He had just had a dream...but he didn't know what it meant. There was a black tabby she-cat with hideously long fangs who had killed him and his entire clan. And even worse, Echostar had watched it all, unblinking. He wondered what this meant.


    But he couldn't worry too much. He had a clan to run! He forced his sandy brown fur to lie flat as he padded out of his den, smiling as his clan waded in the stream.

    JailBait winced as water droplets splashed her as HynoticGaze splashed over. Flicking her ear to get rid of a water droplet. "Uh, Hello HynoticGaze... Good Morning?" the small grey she-cat mewed looking at her paws before looking at the other she-cat. "Uh... How are you?" JailBait asked, trying to be polite she quickly dipped her head in respect to the other she-cat.

    HeatHaze sighed before rolling over onto his stomach and standing, he knew that BrightSoul wouldn't move out of the way, so why lay in the shadow of another cat? The black tom stretched, flexing his claws before standing up straight. "You like disturbing my peace don't you?" HeatHaze mewed flatly. "Course." was BrightSoul's short reply. The black tom huffed before looking over at SandStar and nodding in greeting.

    Hypnoticgaze purred lightly and she dipped her head back. "I am doing well!" She flicked her gaze away and notices Sandstar. "Hi Sandstar!" She chirped brightly before she looked back to Jailbait. "Want to come hunting with me?" She actually sat her butt in the water.

    IC- Sandstar nodded and smiled at his clanmates. They seemed to be enjoying themselves, and that made him happy. A strong clan bond was important. He nodded again at Hypnoticgaze. "Sure." He meowed. Sandstar didn't talk much, but he was very wise for such a young cat.

    Hypnoticgaze nodded to Sandstar and rose to her paws. She wondered if Jailbait wanted to come but figures if she she did then she would catch up. "Come on." She mewed as she bounded out of the stream splashing.


    Dirtpaw was still sleeping in the apprentice den. His tail was curled to rest lightly on his muzzle and he purred a little.


    Breezewing was busy sorting herbs. She yawned and flicked her tail as she gazed out of her den before she went back to work.

    Sandstar calmly followed, his stride long and fast. He quickly caught up with Hypnoticgaze, smiling slightly when he did. The sandy brown tom scented the air and caught the scent of a jackrabbit. "Jackrabbit." He murmured. Jackrabbits were huge and very hard to take down, not to mention dangerous. But the Leader figured that the two talented warriors could complete such a task.

    JailBait watched the two cats, she let out a sigh of relief. The grey she-cat wasn't very social anymore, and was use to being alone, talking to others wasn't something she was good at now. Stepping farther into the water until it reached up to her chest, JailBait dipped her nose into the water for a second, before splashing about the water. Causing her face fur to get soaked.

    HeatHaze watched in amusement as the grey dapple, she-cat caused a uproar in the water, she did it silently too, looking at BrightSoul the black tom flicked one ear before turning. "Why don't you make yourself useful and go hunting too?" BrightSoul made a face at the larger tom. "What about you? hm?" he said flicking one ear. "I'll sit here, enjoy the peace, and when you get back leave." HeatHaze said simply, the black tom just wanted to sunbath in peace, and he knew that would never happen with the miny tiger around.

    Hypnoticgaze scented the Jackrabbit as well and her eyes brightened. She nodded tl Sandstar and was ready on his call. She loved to hunt the large rabbits and she flexed her claws. Her eyes scanned the field until the creature was within veiw. It was crunching on a small shrub bush.

    Sandstar flicked his tail tip to signal that she crouch downwind and wait for his signal. After, he carefully crept in a wide semi-circle, opposite of Hypnoticgaze. He rose his tail as the signal and burst out of the bushes, running full-speed towards tge rabbit. Being an ex-PersiaClan cat, he was wickedly fast, abd reached the jackrabbit in the blink of an eye. As he neared, the jackrabbit reared up onto its front legs and kicked out with his back ones, hitting Sandstar straight in the jaw. After the rabbit's hit and run, it bounded straight for where Hypnoticgaze lie, oblivious.


    Sandstar flew a couple foxlengths away, his jaw throbbing. He groaned and stood, still giving chase to the rabbit. He was good meat, and Sandstar wasn't going to let him get away.


    Rainsplash awoke and padded out of the den, blinking her grey eyes tiredly. She heard the commotion in the water and smiled slightly. Though she preferred quietness, she also enjoyed having fun. She slowly waded into the cool water, sighing as it cooled off her hot pelt.

    Hypnoticgaze crouched downwind of the large creature and she watched Sandstar with her sharp gaze. She knew what was to happen next. Once Sandstar had madein the Jackrabbit turn direction and bound in her direction she waited till it was right on top of her before she sprung out of the bush. She latched her claws inti the Jackrabbit's throat and pulled herself up to sink her teeth in. Even though she was able to do that she was in a bad spot. The rabbit began to claw at her sides and she scrambled, digger her hind legs into its belly.

    Sandstar then jumped onto the jackrabbit's back, using his claws to shred its ears. The rabbit shrieked in pain and tried to buck off the sandy tom, but failed. Sandstar latched onto the creature's back and clawed its eyes, making it blind. The animal gradually weakened from blood loss, finally collapsing in a heap. Sandstar sighed heavily and climbed off of the huge jackrabbit.ThiThis was by far the biggest rabbit he had ever caught.


    The small tom's jaw was very swollen, and it throbbed painfully. He knew he wouldn't be able to help Hypnoticgaze drag the large animal back. He looked at her and flicked his tail to signal that he would be back, with help.

    Hypnoticgaze was panting but she was glad that the thing was dead. Wincing she sat downn, blood leaked from her sides but other than that she was okay. Flicked her tail she shook her head to Sandstar. "I got it." She mewed softly. Standing up she grabbed one of the large legs in her jaws and began to drag the large animal back to camp. It was heavy but she knew she could do it.


    Yewpaw was careful as she padded through Trojanclan territory. Her eyes looked around and she stopped att a small puddle of water. Dirtpaw would be here soon. Sitting she took a drink as she started to wait.


    Dirtpaw woke up and stretched his limbs. Yawning he padded out of the den and looked up at the sky. Mouse-dung! He was late to meet Yewpaw. Quickly but stealthily he padded out of camp. He quickly padded around palm trees and paused as he saw the dusty grey she-cat. "Yewpaw!" He called out as he touched noses with her.

    BrightSoul flicked his ears at HeatHaze who had laid down again. 'He's right, I should do something useful.' the tiger-looking tom thought shortly, before he turned and walked out of camp quickly coming across HypnoticGaze. BrightSoul stopped in his tracks and flattened his ears to his head, talking before he could register what he saw. 'What happened?" he quickly found the question stupid and shook his head. "Here, let me help you." BrightSoul couldn't believe they had took on a jackrabbit that big!

    Hypnoticgaze was glad to see a Brightsoul. "Thanks." She murmured around the large jackrabbit leg that was in her mouth she shifted a bit and waited for him to grab a side.

    Rainsplash gasped as Sandstar padded into camp, his face swollen terribly. "Oh my StarClan!" She exclaimed. Sandstar's jaw appeared crooked and out of line with the rest of his face.


    Sandstar's face was swollen and numb with pain. His fur flushed when Rainsplash exclaimed in horror. He hated attention.
