  • "The guild doesn't make Pokemon like they used to," Quilava hissed. "Back in my day, Flareon and Charizard pushed us too hard!" Quilava snickered. "Do you notice anything different about my fire, sweetie?" she hissed.

  • "Totally," Quilava agreed with herself. She revealed herself, her amber eyes slits and cold like a blast of cold fire. Her blue fire flared up, and grinned deviously. Suddenly, she disappeared into mist.

  • Katey stared her down angrily. "We're just as good as we were! I'll prove it!" She focused on her paws as a spark formed inside them. It grew larger and larger until it was big as her, then big as the Quilava, then big as half the room, making it extremely powerful and impossible to dodge. Behind her, her tail glowed iron and she jumped, smacking the light ball with her tail towards the Pokemon, the iron tail flying after it, both leaving a path of destruction. So, wherever she was, there was no way it would miss.

  • Quilava had disappeared underground and the electricity was canceled out by the dirt. She appeared underneath the other Pokemon and hit it up, blowing a high powered Flamethrower at it, damaging it terribly. "You need to tell how much higher my level is, amateur." She turned away, taunting her.

  • Katey fell to the ground then sprang back up, taking terrible damage. "I'm not giving up that easy!" She charged up, sparks flying around her and used volt tackle on her side gracefully yet powerfully.

  • Quilava tripped the Pikachu up before she could get to full power, pinning her down. "Woah kid," she said. "You need to learn patience. You're too rash for now. If an enemy taunts you, do you attack? No." Quilava let the Pikachu go. "And if you attack angrily, your blows never hit."

  • Quilava shook off the Eevee. "You too. You rush in to attack once your opponent's occupied. That's the value of teamwork." She gave a slightly friendly smile. "I used to teach younger Pokemon. Now those Pokemon I trained are gone. Long, long gone."

  • I ish back :3
Katey growled at the Quilava, deciding to listen to her. Pushing herself to wait, Katey slowly circled her, waiting for her next blow.

  • rin remained on gaurd. should she trust this pokemon that had attacked Katey? she wondered. she decided to attack her anyway, and quick attacked (? is that even a word?) the quilava

  • Quilava slammed her paw into the Eevee's face gently, pushing her away gently. "Better, once I'm on the softer side, once I've cooled down a little." The fires around them died out, with a few hungry ones lighting up the place. "You youngsters are fine with fighting. But is just raw power enough? Cleverness is important. For instance, if some Pokemon appeared there I wouldn't be surprised, I've lived here long enough."

  • "I may be old, but my ears are still sharp," Quilava snapped. "What do you think? Would an enemy try and teach you?" Quilava appeared out of the hole, sitting down patiently waiting for the two youngsters' next move.
