    Out of breath, Poppydapple came running . "The windclaw is near!" she gasped.
    Bramblestar jumped on a big rock near by and called the Clan together.
    "Two of our cats have spotted the windclaw. It is on our path ready to destroy us, The Dark Forest is riseing once again!"

    bramblestar led the Clan away quickly into the forest. Rosefur could hear a cat screeching so she turned around and saw Rubypelt lying on the ground. She didn't know whether her frined was dead or not, but she didn't want to know.

    Poppydapple shut the shriefs and moans out and continued running through the forest with all the other cats on her heel as Bramblesstar led them farther away from their camp.
    would they ever return home? she thought.

    rosefur trudged on, and suddenly it started to rain and the cats ran faster. They lost two more cats in a few heartbeats and it was getting darker. They had to find shelter immediately.

    Finally Bramblestar stopped running. Poppydapple stopped next to him.
    "Have we found shelter?" she meowed .
    "Yes,"Bramblestar breathed a sigh of relief.

    "Where are we staying?" Rosefur asked. She padded up next to the leader and littermate.

    "We are staying here. We are far from the windclaw. It left us many lengths away."Bramblestar meowed. he gestured to an open clearing.

    "It looks comfortable," Rosefur tilted her head to the side. "We aren't WindClan cats."

    Bramblestar gave her a disapproving look. "We have a place to shelter, and it doesn't matter where it is."

    "I want all cats to gather moss for the queens and kits."

    Rosefur followed the other cats into the forest to gather moss. Poppydapple appeared beside her.

    "hi, Rosefur." Poppydapple bent down to dig up a small scrap of moss. She rolled it up and held it between his jaws.

    Rosefur picked up another chunk and followed Poppydapple back to camp

    Poppydapple rolled the moss into the nest and gave it to Crystalcloud

    Rosefur set the nest on the ground and another queen took it

    Bramblestar came up to Poppydapple. "I want you to continue your search for Crystalcloud's kits. They might of escaped the windclaw."
    Poppydapple dippe her head. "Will you come with me?" she asked Rosefur.

    "Sure. We have to work together." The two cats walked out of camp.

    The two cats sniffed every bush, but could find no sign of the missing kits.

    " This is hopeless'" cried Rosefur. " There's no sign of them anywhere!" She sniffed through the bushes without finding any scent trails. " The kits could be anywhere. They might even be dead!"
