Eaglekit stopped crying and slowly walked out from under the bush. She walked to the river were she saw the she cat. She stopped and sat on a rock shivering in fear.

Eaglekit jumped a bite and ran over to the she cat. She cowered into the cats fur that masked her windclan scent. She closed her eyes.

Ic~ Bubblekit curled up obediently, seeing the alarm in the queen's eyes. It did feel nice, she realized, to have a warm and welcome form to rely on. She suddenly became very self conscious, smelling her own rank, oily pelt.

Larchkit mewed helplessly she was less than a fox length away from the other kits but she was much smaller and her mew was harder to hear.

Larchkit stumbled over to the large cat curling up next to her and falling asleep in her warmth.
