  • Wishpaw nodded thoughtfully. She looked up to StarClan, but there must be limits to their powers, or all the cats who attacked SnowClan wouldn't even have been in the picture.

  • Scorchwhisker turned back to Snowberry and Whitepaw. "NightClan are our true Warrior Ansestors. StarClan is nothing. NightClan could of stopped the attack, but all of you worship StarClan!" he sneered. The firey tom raised his voice. "They are the ones with power! They cared enough to keep us alive. If they had been angry, we would all be dead! But they forgive, and both me and Firetail know it!"

  • Rockslide snorted at the speech. "NightClanners. I heard that Stormnight, the r.apist of the Tribe of Many Storms hailed from them. StarClan is the better one, in my opinion." Then, thoughtfully he added, "Perhaps it was through NightClan's influence that we were pushed from our home. After all, the Storm Tribe did worship NightClan."

The chocolate tom nuzzled his mate back, and turned to the others. "So, anyone else go hunting?"

  • Puddlestar looked at Yunalia sadly, though her ears flicked to what seemed to be becoming a heated discussion. "I will allow you to leave, of course. I would send you with an escort if I could, to ensure your safety, but you know our numbers dwindle. I wish you well, Yunalia, and hope that you would return to us someday. You would have made a fine mentor and asset to the clan." murmured the blue tabby, then she shot Scorchwhisker a glance. "I need to take care of this. I'll talk to you more in a moment."

The leader stepped over with some grace, fixing Scorchwhisker in her icy gaze. "StarClan led us here, and it is StarClan that gave me my nine lives. Do you truly dare to doubt them? We do not follow NightClan, Scorchwhisker. I do believe you should apologize." Her voice was cool and calm, but it held a dangerous edge. She did not mind cats believing in other deities or clans in the night, but slandering StarClan in front of kits was not something she stood for.

Fangkit grinned at Dapplekit. "You gonna be an apprentice, Dapplekit?" chirruped the bright young tom. Spotting Jailkit again, he chuckled. "Glad she's doing better now." he murmured, realizing she had wandered off to do something else.

  • "Puddlestar," Soulpaw began, his head cocked slightly to one side. "Can we have out ceremonies? I'm overdue for a warrior." He was well over warrior age, due to the difficulties of the travel. His stocky form promised a strong warrior, and the long legs showed him as a fast runner, and perhaps hunter.

  • Silverkit heard all the arguing and woke up. Her head peered through the snow. She got up and shook the snow away. The small white kit looked around for something to do to make her forget about food. When she realized that there was nothing to do, she lied back down and blended in with the snow. She wondered if anyone noticed that she 'mysteriously disappeared'.

  • Scorchwhisker glared at Rockslide, but turned to Puddlestar. "Why? You cannot force me to believe in what is weak and pathetic. NightClan is true; StarClan is fake. Mighty StarClan, Great StarClan! Why didn't you save us?" He mocked. "You may be the leader, Puddlestar, but does that really give you the power to make me apologize for what I feel? I think not." Scorchwhisker narrowed his eyes.

Ooc- I bet an exiled cat would be fun to play....xD

  • Iceclaw padded around and heard Soulpaw asking Puddlestar if there would be a ceremony soon. "I agree with Soulpaw." The young tom meowed "Besides, I'm in need of an apprentice." He said solemnly.

  • Firetail wasn't going to let Scorchwhisker get in trouble "Puddlestar, are cats not allowed to have opinions? As a leader I would hope you wouldn't challenge every little opinion. StarClan are great and mighty but you went to them they didn't come to you! NightClan could have just as easily given you nine lives and your name but you went to StarClan instead. Don't blame Scorchwhisker for his opinion, you have yours too! And the loss of such a great warrior would only hurt SnowClan!" He tried to reason, but had a feeling that it would only get him in trouble, although, he did have reason behind his somewhat large speech "Scorchwhisker is right! You can't force feelings that won't come!"

((You know, now that I think about it that does sound fun! I have plenty of SnowClan cats anyway so I can still RP in this Clan!))

  • Yunalia opened her mouth to reply to the older she-cat, but before she was able to Puddlestar padded off. With a nod, the silver-blue warrior sat down onto her haunches, then began to glance around for Maverick. If he knew that she was leaving already, there was no way he was going to let her go alone. But Yunalia certainly couldn't ask him to come along. Like Puddlestar had said, their numbers were dwindling.

  • "Tell me a story about it!" Jailkit demanded, curling her tail around her paws. The four moon old kit looked up eagerly at the tom, whiskers quivering in excitement.

  • Puddlestar pushed back her rising impatience with the childish warrior. "You may believe it so, but I do not. I do not oppose you, nor your beliefs, but your actions. You are causing a disturbance and attempting to force your beliefs onto a kit. Not only that, NightClan led the dark factions. No, Scorchwhisker. If you continue this behavior, you will leave." Her tone was even, not even her eyes betraying a hint of anger. Diplomacy had been practiced for far too long to let such a small thing as emotion slip.

Her head tilted to Firetail, and she gave the warrior a questioning glance. "I do not appreciate arguing from any cat such as this, Firetail. One who acts like this is not a valuable warrior to the clan. His rising temper could even be a threat." she intoned coolly.

The blue tabby tail swished as she ignored Soulpaw's question. Her announcement that ceremonies would be held tomorrow had been ignored, apparently.

((I will make a new ceremony thread in a few days, be patient. She won't have them here.))

  • Firetail held his gaze "One who acts like this has an opinion and a mind and likes to speak freely with it. I don't appreciate when others take this freedom away from me." He had a dead expression on his face and would give nothing away "NightClan is strong to me and Scorchwhisker, StarClan is strong to the rest. We have our beliefs and you have yours. You should follow what you believe in and not worry about us. I know what I'm talking about and I hope you will see the truth behind my words." His voice was steady and strong without fear, he spoke what he believed in, not caring about the consequences of his actions.

  • "If you don't tell me a story now I'm gonna have to make one up!" Jailkit raised her voice a little so as if to be heard better. It was as close as a threat as she'd ever made.

  • Scorchwhisker laughed. "Its may be easily influenced, but even kits need to know the truth! StarClan is just a bunch of dead cats with few powers; NightClan are regal warriors with noble blood and real powers!" He looked Puddlestar in the eyes. "I'm not forcing anyone to listen. We all have opinions, and they are shared freely by others. I am not allowed my opinion? Even if it is true?" The tom with the pelt of fire spoke quietly, challenging Puddlestar.

  • Redwind looked at her mate, Rockslide. She gave her kits a gentle nudge and led them off toward a warm pile of grass. She yawned and laid ontop of it. She curled her kits close, warming them up as she curled her tail around them.
