Kaiory saw her sister was getting sleepy so she kept singing, thinking it would be easier on Ashlynn if she slept through the storm

Ashlynn finilly fell asleep. The baby sparrow was cupped in her hand and was sleeping as well.

Kaiory looked around, seeing a compartment beneath large plants. She left her sister sleeping and ran out into the storm, fighting her way through the strong wind and heavy rain until she reached the compartment built into the ground. She opened it and pulled out a large blanket then shut the compartment again and ran back to the shelter, using her body to keep the blanket dry. She knelt down beside Ashlynn and spread the blanket out, covering her with it to keep her warm.

Ashlynn rose slightly but went back to sleep. The sparroe was still in her habds as she slept.

Kaiory watched her sister then glanced out at the sky and sighed, " this storm could go on for days. It's not letting up any time soon." she said to herself
