Redpelt opened his eyes and blinked. He got up and stretched... he purred happily as he reminded himself .. "This is my third day as a warrior"

Frogfeather mewed, awakened by Redpelt's soft voice.
She stretched and reminded herself she wasn't in the apprentices den anymore, and that she could go out and hunt by herself if she wanted.
That was going to take some getting used to.
Frogfeather leaped up and shook herself, and nodded friendly-ish to Redpelt.
Redpelt dipped his head back, when he heard Bearhearts(Deputy) voice. "Redpelt, seeing as you are up, take Frogfeather and two more cats on a hunting patrol." Redpelt grimaced and turned to Frogfeather "Come on'" he mewed at her "We got to go" he looked around the camp for other cats
Frogfeather followed, flicking her tail cheerfully. "Should we take an apprentice, or just an all-warrior patrol?"
she mewed, noticing only a few other cats awake.
Redpelt shrugged and sat down, it would be awhile until other cats woke up. He smiled at Frogfeather and mewed "How do you feel now that you're a warrior?"
Frogfeather sat down next to him and thought for a moment.
"It's going to take some getting used to... but I'm glad! Now I can serve and fight for a clan, and now have alittle respect... thank goodness I don't have to clean the elders den anymore..! What about you?" She mewed, admiring Redpelt's patience.
Redpelt got a mischievous glint in his eyes as he mewed "I'm just relieved that I won't be bossed around by Thornpelt again!" he smiled sheepishly
Frogfeather let out a short mrrow of amusement, knowing she would hardly miss having a mentor!
"Maybe some day you will be able to boss him around yourself!" She flicked her tail, hoping the best for her friend.
"Maybe we could rule the clan together! You could be leader, and I would be your deputy!" Frogfeather purred at the thought, knowing they would lead their clan to victory in every fight, keep them feed in leaf-bare, and maybe even be mates. She couldn't help that last thought... Redpelt was quite cunning and good-looking...
Rabbitleap yawned, stretched, and padded out towards the fresh-kill pile.
She saw Redpelt with Frogfeather and bounded over towards them. "Hi guys! Are you going on a hunting patrol?" She mewed, flicking her tail.
Frogfeather dipped her head in greeting to Rabbitleap.
"Actually, yes.. Redpelt is leading it!"- she flicked her tail towards Redpelt- "So you'll need to ask him." She mewed, not hinting that she didn't want the other she-cat to go with... that would be rude! Then again, wasn''t it obvious Frogfeather had taken a liking to Redpelt...?
"Oh.. okay." She flicked her tail in Frogfeather's face, and walked around her to Redpelt.
"Redpelt, can I go on your hunting patrol, please?" She asked, a purr rising in her throat.
Redpelt nodded "Of course, but we still need one more cat" his green eyes glinting in the dawn light
Echosong and Pottlepaw pranced towards them. "We'll go if you need others to join you." the fluffy gray female meowed, her pitch black apprentice hiding behind her.
Frogfeather mewed in agreement; she would rather Echosong and Pottlepaw go with instead of Rabbitleap!
"She should come with; it'd be great practive for Pottlepaw..." Frogfeather mewed, flicking her tail towards Pottlepaw in with an affectionate glint in her eyes.. Frogfeather wanted an apprentice, too, and she couldn't wait to have one! She wondered if she could watch Echosong mentor her apprentice, just for practice, so she could be ready when it was her time to get an apprentice.
"Great!" Echosong nodded graciously. She nudged Pottlepaw with her cheek, "What do you say, Pottlepaw?" she said gently.
"Th-thank you for allowing us to come along," the shy apprentice directed her blue eyes to the ground.
"Oh.. okay." Rabbitleap let out a huff of air, and stalked off towards the Fresh-kill pile.
Redpelt walked to them and mewed "Okay, so Frogfeather, Rabbitleap, Echosong, and Pottlepaw lets go" he padded into the forest and flexed his muscles "You guys wanna try the Sunningrocks?" he mewed. It was nice and warm there
Frogfeather bounced up and raced after Redpelt. "Sure, just watch out for adders.. wouldn't want anyone getting bitten, would we?" she ran alittle to match Redpelt's pace.
"Sure," Echosong smiled. Pottlepaw stuck to her side like sap.
