• Life of Chopin by Liszt stood at the entrance to the nursery, her hazel gaze scanning her new home. It felt peaceful and the young hybrid couldn't ask for anything more. She was the daughter of the two deputies, Piano and Citadark. Along with her parents' high positions, she was also related to the leader, who was her grandmother, and even the leader, who was her's mother's aunt. Sadly, the she-kit didn't know what she was feeling. Maybe it was pride or happiness? Neither were emotions she was good at expressing but she still had time to learn. Liszt quickly shook away her thoughts concerning emotions and continued to watch the cats among the tribe. One day, she would probably be among them or even off in the distance, watching them like she was now.

Mary wasn't a very social cat; she seemed bubbly and joyful when others spoke to her, of course, but she wasn't one to start up conversations herself. Maybe a nod or greeting here or there, and calling others to help out with herbs or something of the sort, but she had never began a true, casual conversation herself, and she supposed she should change that. Besides, always being cooped up in her den wasn't a good thing, so the healer decided it was time to get out a bit more.

"Hi there," she greeted Liszt quietly, managing a small smile of greeting. Though she sat in front of the nursery alone, her great niece seemed calm and content. "Hope I'm not bothering you or anything! Just thought it'd be nice to talk," Mary added in quickly.

  • Liszt looked over to find her great aunt starting up a conversation with her. "Not at all." The young she-kit mewed, trying her best to return a smile. "I just wasn't feeling very social with my siblings today." It was a simple excuse she used all the time to get away from the noise and business within the nursery. Of course, the hybrid didn't mind watching her siblings play and talk about what they wanted to become in the future until it became boring or unbearable for her.

"I know how that feels," Mary giggled with a smile. "I mean, I love my brothers and sisters but sometimes I just feel the need to take some time alone." Not that her siblings were loud and crazy kits or anything; she was just more of a loner, and socializing was definitely not her forte. Mary always found her own words to be awkward and just randomly strung together.

She glanced down at Liszt. "So, other than that, what've you been up to?" the Healer questioned curiously, head tilted to the side.

  • [sorry about such a late reply. I was helping my brother pack and now I'm helping him move all the way across this country so it's been very hectic e.e]

Liszt didn't want to admit it but she was surprised to hear that Mary knew how she felt. Out of her entire family, she thought she was the only one that struggled with socializing. As the surprise faded, she felt somewhat relieved to know she wasn't really alone when it came to this problem. "Watching the rest of the tribe." The young hybrid answered quietly. "Everyone seemed so relaxed out here so I thought it made be a good place to fit in for a little while." She added, looking back to the scene around her. Of course, it probably would have sounded silly if she admitted it but she felt more comfortable when everything was like this. Calm, peaceful, and easy to be a part of.

She nodded. "Mm, I see. I like it when things are so calm here... More time to relax, you know?" Mary replied with a shrug. Well, that could be a slightly biased opinion, due to the fact that she was a healer and all; whenever things were hectic, that meant lots of injuries and more stress on her shoulders. Not that she minded her job or anything.

After a bit of silence, the cream and white tabby glanced to the spot beside Liszt. "Mind if I sit?" she asked softly. It would be nice to have a real talk with someone outside of her trainees and immediate family, and to just kind of have a clean slate.

ooc: It's fine! <3 And sorry for my late reply, too.

  • Liszt turned her gaze to the spot next to her before shrugging her answer. She didn't mind if the healer sat down next to her. It would be a better choice than returning to the den with all of her loud and energized siblings. "I don't mind at all." She quietly added after her shrug. That was one thing the young hybrid would have to remember. Not answering would probably come off as rude and she didn't want that kind of reputation in her home. It probably wouldn't look good for the rest of her family either and she defiantly didn't want that.
