  • ooc: well never mind about that last post I made it seems things went sour during their camping trip so they came home early and I have the pleasure of getting a post in before I go to bed.

ic: Silentstripe just fell silent as he had no interest in continuing the argument with cats that wouldn't listen. He was a little taken aback by Willowflare's lack of confidence in him however he figured anyone would be after he let failed to protect Ambereyes. His training however forced him to master stealth and surprise attacks, as well as fighting far more lethally than a clan cat normally should. When Bushrose arrived he took no notice nor interest in the conversation but waited next to Willowflare quietly staring off in the direction the rouges went, his ears dropping slightly as he just looked defeated.

  • Willowflare smiled lightly. "Really?" She replied, but it was not really a surprise, sinse Mousegrass had been trailing after her sister for moons. She predicted it would happen not long ago, and she was right. It seemed like her enthusiasm had been burned out, but she was still happy for her sister. "That's great."

Bushrose curled her tail around her sister's, pressing against her for comfort.

  • Willowflare remained silent, her light blue gaze fixed forward. She padded quickly into camp, and without a second thought on her mind, she broke away from her mate and sister and headed immediately towards Gravelstar's den. Her worry for her clan's safety, her worry for Silentstripe and Bushrose, led her on confident that she would shred any cat that came close to harming her clan and the cat's she cared about. She arrived quickly at the leader's den and poked her head in, her light blue eyes glowing in the dim light of the den. "Gravelstar?" She mewed. "Can I come in? It's important."

  • "Come in," Gravelstar meowed. He was grooming himself in his nest, but he immediately noticed the seriousness in Willowflare and the scent of grief. He stopped mid-lick. Dropping his tail, he asked, "What's wrong?" His eyes widened. "I smell rogue! And... WolfClan? They're causing trouble already?" He leaped to his gray paws, amber eyes furious. "Well, I'll-"

  • "No, Gravelstar, not that." She interrupted him quickly before he could go on, waving her tail as she padded in and sat near the leader. She explained the events that happened that day, leaving out the things that happened before the attack. "Lightstar would like help from Windclan to drive out the rouges." She explained.

  • Silentstripe had been sitting at the entrance when Gravelstar had answered, it was exactly what he had expected to hear. He wasn't happy about it either, the gathering was soon enough and he knew it would most like be decided upon by then. The waiting would be agony to him, it was one of the first times he truly felt like doing something for himself. However the though of Willowflare always came to mind and quelled his 'selfish' desires enough to not say or do something stupid.

  • Willowflare nodded and turned away, and padded across the clearing quickly. She disappeared into the warriors den and padded to her nest near the back of the den. She lay down in the nest, but did not fall asleep. She rested her chin on her paws instead and closed her eyes, listening to the voices of her clanmates out in the clearing as she thought of all that had happened that day. She opened her eyes, realizing the chances that Silentstripe may still go after them while she is 'asleep'. Now unable to sleep, she sat up and listened for Silentstripe's pawsteps.
