Seeing In The Dark (Best friend, future mate and mentor needed!)

Rain hissed. "Excuse me.." She slipped by them, climbing up the tree, and sitting on a branch. "Thanks." she mewed, scraping her claws against the branch to sharpen them.

Tigerspirit found the two apprentices, but he was puzzled. Why were they looking at the tree? He looked up and saw a cat sitting there.

Hillpaw glanced coldly at Tigerspirit, then his gaze went back up to the tree. "Come back down here, coward!" He hissed, bunching up his muscles to leap up and climb the tree.

Rain snorted, climbing farther up the tree. "Oh, granted... if you can catch me!" She mewed, landing on a higher branch, and then started cleansing her face with her paws.

"I'll more than catch you- I'll kill you!" Hillpaw growled, grasping the lowest branch, and began pulling himself up.

Tigerspirit watched him, deciding that he should leave him be.

Hillpaw leapt up to another branch, this time not needing to pull himself up.
Then he climbed up onto the branch the she-cat was on, and he bared his teeth.

The she-cat let out a startled mew. Her collar- more like a beaded necklace- sparkled in the sun. She let out alittle chuckle, and leaped up to another branch, then darting down to one of the lower ones. "You're funny!" The kittypet exclaimed, bouncing on her paws.

Hillpaw leaped down onto the branch along with the cat, and gave her a strong whiff. "You're not a rogue- you're a kittypet! Well- this'll be [i]easy![/i" He barrelled at her, knocking them both off the tree.

Rain let out a suprised wail, before tumbling over and flipping backwards in a mess of fur on the ground.
"You stupid cat! Now I need to wash my fur all. Over. Again!" She screeched, struggling underneath the cat.

Hillpaw let out an amused snort. "State your name and business before I claw your precious little fur off your pelt!" He threatened, pinning the small cat to the ground.

Rain wriggled beneath the cat, but gave up. "My name is Rain- my business, none of your big fat business!" She hissed in his face.

Hillpaw gave the cat a stupid look. "That makes completely no sense." He spat. "Then what exactly do you want?!"

Rain snorted. "Nothing, really..." A glint of trouble shown in her eyes. Suddenly, she yanked her head up and bit the tom's nose.

Hillpaw yowled in pain, but placed a paw of un-sheathed claws on Rain's face, pushing her muzzle down, and making her release her grip. "You have no business being here what-so-ever, so leave or I will sound an alarm." He threatened.

Tigerspirit wanted to claw the dumb kittypet to pieces, but he knew Hillpaw wouldn't thank him for stepping in, so he didn't move.
