The 100th Hunger Games: The 4th Quarter Quell and 1st Century Clash(18 spots l!)

    Welcome Panem, to the 100th Annual Hunger Games! It is the fourth Quarter Quell, and the first Century Clash! This means that the Hunger Games will still go by its traditional Quarter Quell rule change, but there will be a secondary rule change to make it even more exciting.


    Quarter Quell Twist: To remind the districts that they are not safe after eighteen, tributes aged 19-25 will be chosen for the Hunger Games.


    Century Clash Twist: This year all the tributes will be spawned randomly throughout the arena that they are in. There will not be a Cornucopia, but they will have backpack with enough food, water, first aid supplies, and a weapon of their choice.


    The arena will be an enormous pine forest with various water sources. Also you can sponsor yourself only once in the games, at the time you need it most.

    Name: Merle Vettant
    Age: 14
    Gender: Female
    District: 3
    Appearance: Short, dirty blonde hair that has been cut so that it doesn't get into her face. It's a rather rough, messy haircut though and many accuse her of being a wild girl. She generally likes to wear practical outfits that are easy to move in, such as longsleeved shirts, three-quarter length trousers. She sunburns easily, but her skin is generally quite pale. She is quite small for her age and she is often mistaken for being younger than she is, which often annoys her. She dislikes wearing jewellery or other accessories that she deems unnecessary. She is aware of the situation the country is in and thus always dresses in case an emergency occurs.
    Strengths: Logical, good at hiding
    Weaknesses: Can be caught off guard quite easily, unable to use many weapons due to her short stature (but she is generally not very good at fighting anyway)
    Other: She lives with her mother, father and three younger brothers (all of whom are too young to be reaped into the Games). Her mother detests the Games since her sister was killed in them back when she was a child.
    Merle was prepared to go into the line of work that all her family did- inventing and adapting technology for the Capitol. It was by chance that she was reaped into the Hunger Games. This was not something for her to be proud off- sure, she could fight well enough, but she wasn't brilliant. Plus, she didn't like the idea of killing someone. She kept telling herself to think logically, but deep down she didn't want to kill anyone. Yet, she had to. The only way to continue was to adapt to her surroundings and deal with it.

    Strengths:Maro is good with any melee weapon, especially an axe. He is strong and fast, but not exceptional. Maro also is very manipulative and can easily make allies, preferably other Careers. He is a strong swimmer and is also good with hand to hand combat.


    Weaknesses: Maro CANNOT climb. He will just fall to the floor the second pulls himself up a branch or something. He is also a sloppy shot with ranged weapons. Also he gets a little too used to being with others, so he freaks a little when he is alone.


    Other: Nothing that will affect the games.
