This is the Roleplay thread for our shifters! The Recruiters are the only ones allowed outside the territory, for they wander around the Roleplay threads looking for fellow shifters. Here are the ranks:

Here is the current Weather and Time:

Weather: Drier than morning, but cooler than before, still hot, though.
Time: Noon, the sun is high in the sky.

The post was edited 1 time, last by σιλουέτα ().

  • Cole rolled over, newly risen sunlight trickled through the gaps of the entrance of the den. He opened his eyes, being blinded by the brightness that had filled the den while he was sleeping. Slowly he got up yawning to release the irritating feeling in his throat, today was a new day and it made him feel excited. He swiftly got up and rushed out the entrance, his back a bit stiff from sleeping on the plain rocky floor again. He quickly scanned camp, seeing no one was up before him he could already feel excitement prickle through his system. He usually was one of those people who slept in, but not today. He felt victorious, especially beating everyone outside. "Boo-yah!" he yelled, wanting everyone to wake up and hear his victory.

  • Sirena walked out of her den and stretched he arms into the air "mourning Cole how are you today"

Kyler slowly walked out of the children's den sleepily "it is too early to be up" he complained

"you say that every mourning even if it is noon" Sirena giggled

  • Ashthorne was rather rudely awakened by a loud yell of "booyah!", which is, of course, not the most pleasant way to wake up. He pushed himself to a sitting position and stretched, black spots dancing in front of his eyes as he tried to get rid of his tiredness. Stupid kid, thought the shifter male. Ash liked his sleep, and is rather more snappish without enough of it. "Did you have to yell?" barked Ash, most likely waking up the rest of the camp as well as startling Cole.

Adawolfa had been having an unnerving dream when she woke up. All traces of the nightmare were gone, except for a feeling of fear. She looked up through the green leaves of the tree that were coloring the dawn light in an eerie way, and rolled over, trying to get back to sleep.

Hydra sat up in her bed and looked at Cole, smiling bemusedly. She was the queen of such a nice group. She morphed into a small sparrow and flew into the air, tiny wings fluttering in the sky as she lit down on the dusty ground, morphing back into a human as her claws dug into the dirt.

  • Ashthorne shrugged. What did he have to lose? "I guess I will," volunteered the recruiter, raising a hand slightly. He was tired, but this would wake him up. Besides, they were running low. He grabbed a leather bag to carry the stuff in, and morphed into a dark-furred fox.

Adawolfa just wanted to get to sleep. Why couldn't everyone shut up already?

Hydra nodded in approval. "Sounds good. We have enough fruit. Get some meat."

OOC: Starting tomorrow, I'm going to be quite inactive. For just two weeks, don't worry. If needed, you can roleplay my characters when you interact with them.

  • Sirena Shifted into her eagle form "lets's see if i get luck and catch a goat" she said and looked at ashthorne "want a lift out of the camp" she asked him

Kyler lay on the ground staring at the sky

  • Sirena took off into the air and flew high in the sky she thought to herself I think I will look in the mountains for a goat that would feed the group well. Sirena went in the direction of the Echo Valley of the past.Hours passed and she spotted a small herd of wild mountain goats maybe 4-5 of them. She dove down from the sky and grabbed a small adolescent female by the neck with her talons and climbed into the sky and once she was high enough she let go of the prey it landed on the ground seconds after she let go. When it hit the ground it died of a broken skull. Sirena retrieved it and flew back to the camp with her prey.

  • Ashthorne morphed into a dark-furred fox as he reached the forest, shrinking down to size and fur getting longer and more thick. The fox trotted through the forest, when the smell of turkey reached the damp black nose at the end of his long, thin muzzle. Wow. First try too. He crouched down so his belly touched the dirt, and slid closer. There were two of them. He focused on the larger one, and pounced. He landed on its back and it struggled like a bull in a fight. He found the thin neck of it, and bit down. There was a cracking sound and the turkey fell on the ground. Ash stood, panting. Would it have been easier as a human with guns or knives? Yes, but this way was more fun.

Catherine blinked, slightly annoyed by the "booyah" she had heard as a waking call. Standing up, she smoothed her hair down before morphing into a Peregrine Falcon and with a few flaps of her gray wings, flying out of her den and onto the dusty ground underneath. A few seconds after her claws touched the dirt ground, she morphed back into a human. "I'm going to Moonrise Mountain to get a few more herbs."She stated, not speaking to anyone particular.

It took Katana a few moments to fully wake up. She dragged herself out of the den, yawning. There was never much excitment being a Warrior. No human attack them these days. Had they forgot about them? [/fancypost]

  • Noticing everyone was leaving camp, Cole also felt the need to leave, and headed out towards pawprint lake. Even thought he was unsure if he needed permission to leave at all. He quickly shifted into a fox, the after affects already taking place, with each swift movement he made a pant came afterward. But he continued at a high pace, which somewhat paid off. It took a few minutes to reach the lake, but he had exhausted himself. Sitting himself down on the dusty ground to recover himself from fatigue, his tongue lopped out of his mouth and he absorbed air into his lungs speedily. Eventually he finally managed to regain his energy and leaped into the water, his fur becoming soaked, but he continued his failed attempt to catch fish. Each lunge was returned with a soaked muzzle, and a taunt as the fish swam away.

Oh crap. Upon seeing the dead goat, Catherine quickly morphed back into the falcon and took off. Hopefully someone else caught something more...normal let's say or she'll have to eat fruit. Flapping her gray wings, she looked down at the forest. Ahhh...bird's eye view was such a wonderful thing. Arriving at the mountain, she flew around, searching for herbs.

Maybe I should go hunt. Deciding to go with something less strange, she morphed into a Golden Eagle, waiting a few moments to catch her breath before taking off into the air.[/fancypost]

  • Ashthorne attempted to drag the dead turkey towards camp, but failed, and ended up panting. He thought for a moment, and then shifted into a horse, legs and neck lengthening, stretching until he was a horse. He shut his eyes against a headache he seemed to get whenever he shifted, and let himself recover before lifting the turkey off the ground and galloping off through the forest.

Adalwolfa sighed and sat up in her bed. She had to get up sometime. She slid gracefully to the ground, and landed catlike with a thump. Straightening up, she looked around camp. Most had waken and left empty beds, but some were still asleep, some hanging around camp. She sighed. What was there to do?

Hydra watched as the camp got up. She decided to let everyone wake up before leaving to hunt. Maybe she would gather berries, or get vegetables from the humans. She smiled. It was a nice morning.

  • Having woken up a few hours before the others, Takao was already up in the air, flying around the perimeter of their territory. His silvery blue gaze observed the forest floor closely, checking for any unusual activity in the ground below. He was flying slightly higher than one would in order to hunt, but this increased height allowed for his field of vision to be wider, which is why he was at the altitude he was.

  • Ashthorne took a break from carrying the turkey to rest his aching neck. He glanced up, and saw a hawk flying above. Its markings were familiar...after thinking a moment, Ash realized he was looking at that Takeo kid, the scout. Hmm. After his quick rest, he picked up his kill a and continued to camp.

OOC: Last night I stubbed my toe and it started bleeding. Ow. Hope I don't have to swim in salt water.
