    Kayla grabbed his hand and pulled him outside. She ran into the bushes where she would normally hide whenever he was like this. Once they were inside, Kayla placed her hands gently on the sides of his face and pulled him in for a quick kiss. "Don't you ever to that again." She whispered harshly.

    Kayla sighed, wiping her tears. "Max," she started, turning his head to look at the wound on his face. "Ouch... I'll take a look at that later when we get back to your house. He hit you hard..." It was true. It had already started to bruise, and it was bleeding too.
