    Kayla smiled and wrapped his arms around her before going up on her toes and giving him a small kiss on his lips. She turned around and dialed the number into the phone and picked it up.


    "Hello, Child Protective Services, how may I help you?" A lady said on the other end of the line.


    "Hi, my name is Kayla Benson. I'm calling to report my father, who has been physically abusing me for the past six years."

    "Thank you," Kayla said. "I'm not at my house right now, do you want me to be there?"


    "Yes," she said. "But why aren't you there?"


    "My boyfriend found me crying at the park and took me over to his place." Kayla replied.


    "Alright. You head over, and we'll meet you there. If he tries to hurt you again, scream as loud as you can, and hopefully someone will hear. Or get your boyfriend to go with you."


    "Will do," Kayla said with a smile. "My address is 43 Westgate Crescent, SW."

    "Thanks, baby." She muttered into his shirt. She could feel his toned chest through his dark green t-shirt. "Woa." She said, pulling back and feeling his chest and his abs. "When did you get this?"

    Kayla smiled and took his hand. "Its actually almost just around the corner!" She said. As she walked closer to her house, she noticed that her father was sitting in his chair, drinking another beer. "Shit..." She muttered, walking up to the door. She took a deep breath and pulled open the door. Right away, the putrid smell of alcohol hit her and she almost started gagging. "Dad, I'm home." She called, fear in her voice. The man stood up, a towering 6'4 feet tall.


    "Girl, where have you been?" He sauntered towards her, reaching out to grab her. She quickly stepped back, avoiding his grasp.


    "I-I was at Max's house..." She stuttered, putting up her hand protectively.


    "You little whore!" He yelled, swinging his fist at her. It missed because she stepped back in time. Panic struck her as she felt the hard wall behind her. Cornered... Her dad swung at her again, this time hitting her just below her eye. She yelped in pain, getting ready for the next blow.
