[color=black]The Black dragon breed is little, very few still live. a single Black Dragon could live up to the age of 5 thousand years old but only if it could find a safe, quiet spot with plenty of meat to feed this huge, carnivorous breed. A male Black Dragon is actual only three forth the size of a female, measuring at twenty feet from spread wing tip to spread wing tip. in length they are forty feet long with a bony sphere on the end of their tails and silver, nasty poison tipped needles. the males are only twenty-five feet at wing span and thirty-five feet long and the spiked bone on their tail is only half the size of a females. As hatchlings and young drakes and drakka,(teenage dragons, drakes being young males, not yet having grown its wings, and drakka, young females not yet having grown its wings.), they do not yet have wings, and are no more than giant lizards, with claws like dagger and teeth like swords. When a drake or drakka are named their names are spelled like this, BloodRose, nightclaw, and silvertalon, but when the drake/drakka's wings burst from the wing sacs that form at their beginning of adult hood, their names become, BloodRose, NightClaw, and SilverTalon. when a drake/drakka starts its adult hood, two pouches of skin form on their backs. the pouches are incredibly itchy and when the wings are completely formed and ready to be off use, the dragon rips at the skin, tearing away the dead skin to reveal two enormous wings that snap into high position, as though they where ready for flight. the Black dragon has horribly jagged teeth as am adult, used for tearing into its prey during a hunt. like the silver tail needles, the claws of a black dragon are deadly, a lining of acid forms and seems to grow like the algae on a coral dragon. the fire of a lack dragon is like fast moving magma, liquid black flames that seem to be outlined with a purple hue.
