Cloverkit woke up in the nursery with her sister next to her. It was cold so she snuggled closer to her mom. Rainflower licked her kit and wrapped her tail around both of her kits. Cloverkit fell to sleep and let darkness take over.
The next morning Cloverkit and Mistykit were playing outside. Their mother watched them and smiled "Blackstream, I am so happy right now" she meowed "Aren't you?" she asked. He replied to her by saying "Of course".
Then Cloverkit ran over to her mother "Can we go on patrol with the warriors?" "Yeah" Mistykit added. "No" their mother said sternly "Maybe the elders have a story they could tell you". Cloverkit frowned "But we want to go on patrol" Rainflower gave her a stern look. "Fine" meowed Cloverkit and she went over to the elders den.
When they got in the elders den Mistykit asked Kinktail how his tail got like it is. He said "Well let's see I was out hunting one day when a fox..." as he told the story Mistykit and Cloverkit listened intently.
After that they went to the warriors den. Hollywhisker and Gingertail were in there sharing tongues once they saw the kits they sighed. Mistykit asked "Do you want to play mossball?" and Cloverkit said yes.
They played mossball a little bit and then wanted to do something fun. "Let's sneak out of camp" Cloverkit said and then raced for the dirtplace and went out the tunnel that lead out of camp. "Wow" she meowed looking at all of the trees as Mistykit squirmed out of the tunnel. "Thunderclan has the best territory ever" Mistykit meowed.
All of the sudden they heard their mother yell "where are my kits" and then she appeared at the entrance to camp and spotted them. "What are you doing out here" she meowed "You had me worried sick". Then she picked them up by the scruff and carried them back to camp.
"We're sorry" they said at the same time "We just wanted to see the territory" Cloverkit meowed.
