OOC: You've created a wolf pack but you don't know about ranking? Okay. Its sort of hard to explain... sometimes packs just have Alpha, Beta, Hunters, Guards, Pups and Omegas, but other times, it can be more complexed:

Alphas- these are the leaders of the pack. They have the final say in everything and are both equal in power. Of course, they are mates.

Betas- these two wolves are also mates. They help the Alphas in decsion making and the rest is pretty much self explanatory. They are also second in command to the Alphas

Deltas- these two wolves are mates just like the Alphas and Betas. The come third in command to the Betas and they help with battle plans and patrols.

The Shamans- there are two wolves who are the medics of the pack. The Shaman Learner is trained by the Shaman to learn about herbs and other things.

The Seer- this wolf foretells the future. He/she also gives the pack prophecies and omens, good and bad, from their ancestors.

The Grand Advisor- this wolf gives advice on everything for the Alphas, Betas, Deltas, the pack members, and even the Seer. They usually only give advice to the higher ranks though.

The Senior Protector- this wolf leads all of the Protectors. They organize which Protectors go on patrol and discuss battle tactics with the higher ranks. This wolf is almost always a male.

Protectors- their name says it all. These wolves fight, go on border patrol, and guard camp. These wolves are also the ones to go into battle and fight for the pack along with the Alphas, Betas, or Deltas.

The Senior Hunter- this wolf helps organize huning patrols. They are in charge of all the hunters and they lead hunting patrols with either the an Alpha, Beta, Delta, or by themselves.

Hunters- these wolves are the wolves who hunt, track, and gather food for the pack. They go on hunting patrols and they track the herds that move throughout the pack's territory.

Learners- these wolves are the apprentices of the pack. They either train to become a Hunter or a Guard. The are also taught how to fly.

Bearers- these are the she-wolves who are expecting, or rasing pups.

The Young Ones- these are the pups of the pack. They become Learners at 6 months.

The Wise Ones- these aare the Elders of the pack. They are usually over 10 years or may be retired early due to certain injuries or disabilities.

Omegas- these are the lowest ranking wolves. They eat the scraps remaining from the Grand Feast and always eat the smallest prey on the food pile. They are usually loners who haven't been moved up in rank and are wolves who may have broken the law or laws.

Oh well yeah I know those rankings. I thought you meant like the over all pack ranking not each individual wolf. And Duke's rank is Alpha Male.
