Halo
I.
Am.
Awesome.
Halo sighed. "I'm coming with you."
Angel
I'm on the run.
And... I have a brother?
Angel nodded. "Me to."

The world see's me
I don't see it
Others see me
I don't see them
Lana nodded. "Ditto."

Miles let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. He hadn't wanted to go off alone. "That's great," he said, smiling, and beamed at Gracie. "What about you?"

Gracie.
what if I fall
along the way
would you be there
to ease my pain?
Gracie's eyes had shifted from Miles, to rogue, and back again several times. Then, Miles said they could do whatever they wanted.. Go solo, go with him, stay here.. She had to say, going solo didn't sound very appealing. At all. And staying here.. She knew there was a good chance the white-coats would find her. Then what? Back to a life of being tested, and living in a cage.
She slowly rose to her feet as she finished off the last of her food. "I'm going with you." She said to Miles.

His smile grew ever wider, and he extended a calloused and well-worked hand to Rogue. "Please reconsider and come with us. It's too dangerous here."
Rogue.
Try and catch me.
Rogue simply stared at Miles' hand. After a long silence, she closed her pain-glazed eyes and shook her head slowly, biting her lip. "I hate to say this," she said, her eyes snapping open, "But I have to help these kids. I don't want them to end up roadkill, because lord knows if the girl ends it the boy will follow." She shrugged. "Sorry. I'm just not cut out for life in a flock."

Miles sighed and withdrew his offered hand. "Very well. Good luck, Rogue." He turned around and made for the doors, the heels of his boots slapping against the generic black-and-white checkered tiles.
Rogue.
Running alone
"Hey, Miles!" Rogue called after him as he walked toward the door. "Don't die, 'kay? I'll miss you too much if you do." She gave him a pained half-smile and pulled her boots off the table.

Miles raised an eyebrow in a nonverbal question, tapping out an impatient tune against the polished-to-a-shine glass paneling on the doors. He didn't have much time to waste. "What is it?"
Rogue.
Try and catch me.
"Hold up..." Rogue breathed, her eyes lighting up. "I just got a brain wave. Uber epic idea here." She stood up and walked out of the McDonald's, pacing up and down the sidewalk where less people would hear her talking.

((Oh my God, I was trying to copy and paste the new template but only ended up modifying the whole post. xD))
Rogue.
"You, come here," she said, beckoning to Jess and Tony. "You afraid of pain?" Jess shook her head. Tony shook his too, but he was clearly not happy with Rogue's direction of conversation.
((So my laptop crashed... So replies from a computer will be limited. So for now while I'm on my iPod I can't do the template. :( ))
Gracie also walked outside, and leaned against the dirty wall, next to Miles. She raised her eye brow in question as Rogue began talking to the teens. "Is she trying to get us caught?" she growled under her breath.

[shadow=blue, left]"Come here, then,"[/shadow] she said, beckoning to Jess. Jess nodded fearlessly and stepped forward, shrugging off Tony's protective grip on her shoulder. [shadow=blue, left]"This won't last long."[/shadow] Rogue plucked two feathers from her jacket and took out a knife, spinning Jess around. With the knife she cut two slits in between Jessie's shoulders. Tony was the one who gasped, while Jess remained silent, though her face paled a little and she bit her lip. Rogue pressed the feathers into each of the cuts and covered them up with the cloth from her jacket. Then she gently pressed her fingers to the cuts and squinted a little.
[shadow=blue, left]"There. I'll wait here with you two until you get to the stage we need you in, train you, then catch up with Miles and Gracie."[/shadow] She leaned over towards Miles, whispering so only he and Gracie could hear. [shadow=blue, left]"Bird DNA,"[/shadow] she hissed.[shadow=blue, left]"I put bird DNA in her, and stole some of her human DNA to make room for the genes. I'm guessing about nine days from now she'll be sprouting wings."[/shadow]
Angel
Im On The Run.
And... I Have a Brother?
Angel yelped as she felt a hand tightly grip her shoulder. "Thought you could run away and hide, eh?" A full grown eraser stood there, already turning wolfish. "Guys!" Angel screamed as the Eraser lifted her into the air, her arms and legs thrashing.

Miles whirled around, slipping out a plastic spork from beneath his shirt sleeve. He felt ridiculous crouching there, staring up wide-eyed at the sheer immensity of the beast, its crude and ugly head leering down at him, its savage eyes burning holes through the front of his skull, but he did it anyway: pointed the four little tines at its broad and ape-like chest in an invitation to fight.
Angel
I'm On The Run.
And... I Have A Brother?
The Eraser gave an evil smile towards Miles, and threw Angel to the floor. Angel yelped and hit headfirst to the black and white tile floor. She was knocked out cold. The Eraser took a step toward Miles. "Really? A spork?" He started cracking up. It sounded like a chainsaw ripping through a tree. He stared at Miles. "Ya' can't beat me with a spork, Subject 12." He growled threateningly. Angel layed there, unconscious at Gracie's feet.

"Yeah? Napoleon lead the invasion into Moscow wielding a spork. So give me your best shot," he spat, his wings struggling to break free from their restraints.
Gracie let out a low growl, and as it vibrated through her, she shrugged off her jacket and wrapped Angel in it. Cradling the small girl, she turned towards the eraser. "Afraid? You should be. A spork is all he'd need to kill you anyways." Her blue eyes flashed with rage, and she strightened up as tallas she could. The eraser still towered over her small frame.
Eraser... Thing...
I
R
Evil!!!
The Eraser chuckled and leaped at Miles, his claws outstretched and now full wolf... thing form.
Jessie.
You don't know me.
There was white-hot pain in her back, but if anything it blinded her of rational though. She snatched the knife, still bloody (That's MY blood, she thought), and chucked it at the eraser. It missed the exact target, landing the blade in the Eraser's lower ribs. She didn't know why she did it, and felt sick when she realized what she had done. But that thing had been hurting a girl, a little girl, and was about to attack the boy the white-haired girl had been traveling with. Now that she thought of it, she didn't know anyone's names...
Tony.
I'm with you
Forever
Because if I don't love you
Then why does it hurt?
Jessie wasn't hurt. She had just nailed a wolf-thing with a knife... Tony never knew she could do that. She was fine, just dazed, he thought, and ran over to the little girl that creature had thrown down. He picked up her head and shoulders in his lap and gently examined her head. He had taken a short medical course first trimester of highschool, so he knew basic head wounds. The girl would be fine, but with one heck of a migrane for about a week or so.
((How do you spell migrane? I should know this...))
