  • Streakfire's emerald gaze raked the woods for prey, preferably the larger type, foxes and hawks. Her grey and black pelt blended among the misty foliage as she waited for her hunting partner.

  • Darkstripe arrives in a quite deccent mood, he is excited to go on his first hunting trip and the two warriors set off.

  • Streakfire mewed a greeting to Darkstripe as he arrived. "Where do you want to hunt?" she asked.

  • "I've heard that there is a great amount of blackbirds just south of fourtrees."He replied. "Maybe we should start there." He mewed

  • Streakfire nodded. "Sounds good. I'm up for a run, are you?" she asked, whipping her tail playfully before darting off into the trees.

  • "I knew hunting would be fast pace!" He whispers to himself as he darts off after his partner.

  • Streakfire shot through the underbrush, following the scent of prey, increasingly blackbirds, and checking over her shoulder every once in a while to make sure Darkstripe was still on her tail.

  • Darkstripe stays same pace as Streakfire and also picks up the scent of blackbird. As they near the spot of which they're going to hunt blackbirds apper about three tail leinths away.

  • Streakfire slowed down beside Darkstripe, lowering her body to the ground and slithering forward like a snake toward the blackbirds. Leaping out at one, Streakfire missed by a mousetail-width and the bird fluttered away. She cursed under her breath but fixed her sight on another bird that somehow hadn't been startled by the attack.

  • Darkstripe amused by how hard it looked got down into the possition and pounced, he missed as well. Darkstripe hissed with anger.

  • The next blackbird hung in Streakfire's jaws triumphantly. She mumbled through a mouthful of feathers, "Don't worry, blackbirds are tough to catch. You'll get it."

  • As Darkstripe gets ready to pounce on another one, he remembers those words Streakfire spoke, "dont worry blackbirds are hard to catch, youll get one." He takes those words as encouragement and pounces catching a blackbird in a single pounce. "I did it!" He said, "I cought my first blackbird!" He cheers not even noticing anything else in the forest.

  • "That was so fun! I can't wait to catch another one!" Darkstripe mewed as his tail flicks in excitement.

  • Streakfire picked her blackbird up again, smiling. "Let's stick to blackbirds for a little while, then how bout we try rabbits? Their ears are better than blackbirds'," she mewed through the feathers.

  • "Ok! I'm up for any challenge but for now let's get closer to fourtrees, the closer you get the more there are, at least, that's what I heard. Ok so are we going to stay here or go get some more blackbirds closer to fourtrees?" mewed Darkstripe. ◙_◙

  • "Let's get some more closer to fourtrees," mewed Streakfire. "If that's okay with you."

  • "Sure! That's in fact the one i liked the most!" replied Darkstripe with a flick of his tail, he darted closer as fast as he could, determined to beat Streakfire to fourtrees. :)

  • "A race, huh?" whispered Streakfire. "Well, I'll give you a race. My name's not what it is for nothing." With that, she took off after Darkstripe, bolting through the forest like an arrow.

  • Darkstripe, now gasping for air looked back, Streakfire was right on his tail! She was only two tail leinths away! "Oh crap! I gotta run! I'm almost there! I can do this!" Darkstripe says to himself. But by the time he was done, Streakfire had passed him! "Crap! Why do I talk to myself?!" Darkstripe gasped begging for air as he bulleted off after Streakfire.
