    Why the wind cries and the Wolves answer its prayers...
    [i]Wolves have inhabited this area for many generations under powerful leaders chosen by the goddess of the Moon. They follow their ancestors through the guidance of healers and find comfort in the protection found in numbers. The new ruler chosen during the new moon was called Daki. He was as any Alpha should be for their pack. He was strong and wise and listened to his fellow pack members. Trouble was brewing in their new home and they needed to be prepared. Will you join him and do what those before you have not? Or will you hide and ignore the cries of the wind that beckon for comfort in your voice?

    Daki arose from his den and stretched. His dark fur and jet red eyes gazed over the clearing. He saw as the sun rose above the tallest peak just beyond clan boarders. This is it he thought to himself. Today shall be a new day. A day that will start the beginning of the end.


    Safi shook her sleek wet fur as she entered camp. She had been hunting in a near by lake and had 2 trout in his jaws. Her fur clung to her as she looked up to gaze at her Alpha. She knew what he was thinking but didn't dare disturb him. He was in a trace like state. It was best he was left alone.

    Bardock had just woken up, everyone else was asleep expect Daki, He walked over to him "Morin Daki, when do we start the patrol" he said

    Daki turned to Bardock. He bounded down the cliff where his den resided and padded up to the wolf. "Assemble a patrol at sun-high. That should be enough time for you to prepare a proper patrol. Keep an eye on the eastern boarder. There have been reports of lone wolves coming into the territory.

    IC-Hyacinth arose from her nap. She left her mate Zion sleeping and stretched in the sun, then sat erect in the clearing. She bowed her her head to Daki in a respectful way, then surveyed the rest of the pack. It was very peaceful and calm for now.

    Daki nodded to his deputy. He than preceded to make his rounds around the camp. He checked his camp and looked around at the wolves stirring about the camp. He was glad to see his camp growing.


    Said looked up from her grooming to see her Alpha making his rounds. It was good to see him lively. She noticed how much he had changed. She sighed and sat up.

    Breeze stood and stretched scanning The camp she saw sapphire and padded over to her "You're up early." she said smiling in a friendly manner "Would you like me to help you gather herbs today?" she asked

    "Why yes thank you" she said stretching and yawning against then she saw daki and smiled he looked so amazing she looked over at breeze "come today all I needis some burdock root and marigold" she stated leading the way out of camp

    Daki continued his solo patrol. He noticed sapphire and breeze leave the camp. He made a connection with her rank and continued to carry on. He nodded at safi when he saw her in greeting.


    Safi nodded in return. She stood up and stretched. It would do her good to get some water. It was rather hot today.

    Breeze smiled and followed Sapphire, glancing at Daki Border patrol? she thought, that seemed dangerous on his own but she had no right to speak her mind on the matter

    "Ah here we are please dig up these roots while I look for the marigold" she said pointing out some burdock plants then she turned and walked away tward the sent of marigold

    Breeze nodded and began scooping the soft clay away from the roots, careful not to damage them. She gathered a good amount and began looking for Sapphire

    Bardock caught up to Daki "sorry about that I kindof forgot about the patrol"

    Daki walked into the forest. He walked around the edge of his territory. He sniffed the air and remarked his scent. He made sure it was secure before he continued on. He turned to see Bardock. "It's alright. Let's just Finnish the patrol from here. I have secured the northern boarder."


    Said noted how empty the camp was. She decided to stay within camp and watch over. She walked to a small stream by the medicine den and drank from it.

    Saphire was so busy picking the marigold that she couldent even smell the fox den two feet away fom her finally she finished and picked them up ready yo go back
