Toby walked closer to the herd and glared at the passing horses with hate.
Loki finally calmed down and stopped running. He then looked up at the palamino loner nearby.

OOC: The herd is being attacked by a loner(Damen is the loner). Sorry, I forgot to let tell you.
IC: Stunner neighed again, hoping that some horse would hear here, though she knew that the herd was too far away to hear her call. She drank from the pond, her demeanor suggested that she was nervous.
Mairead whinnied and then glanced at the stallion as if to say "look out" then jumped up and rolled. The cougar favoring its paw was thrown off and rolled on the ground. Mairead whinnied and reared. Stomping down and let out a viscous whinny before the cougar ran off. Mairead glanced at the stallion nervously. Worried and alarmed slightly she glanced at her sides streaked with blood then her shoulder but averted her eyes at the sight of torn muscle.
((Wich stallion are you talking about?))
gidian
Gidian breathed deeply, watching the cougar run off. "You okay?" he panted, flicking his tail to keep the flies off. His eyes flickered to the mare's torn muscle, glancing at his own skin for any scratches.
Breeze glanced around, continuing her boring lonely graze.

Night had fallen. The eerie sounds around me kept me awake. One minute I heard a growl, the next I heard a crunch of leaves. I couldn't be sure of what was real or not. The pond beside me had a bit of a drip, drip noise to it. I was ready to bolt at any sign of danger, but truthfully I was a little panicked. After all, there is no safety in numbers when you are all alone.
OOC: Trying to add a little suspense. :)
Mairead simply nodded and turned. she needed to get to the herd...but where were they? mairead tried to take a step forward but her leg buckled and she fell. blood dripping to the ground where she lay.
Gidian just gazed at her, thinking to himself, Okay then ignore me.. He gasped loudly as the mare fell, leaning his head down to sniff her, trying to see what was wrong. "You okay?" he whinnied, hoping the mare would answer him for once. He knelt down to examine her torn, wincing.
Maireaf grimaced "yeah..." she murmured and tried to push herself up. her leg trembling with the effort.
Gidian noticed that the mare was struggling. "Lean on me and I will help you find your herd." he offered, standing up.
"they are long gone...wait how do you know I am with a herd?" mairead asked warily. she leaned on him anyway.
Gidian shrugged, honestly he just assumed. "Well every mare has a herd." he answer firmly, glancing around.
Should I bring Brushfire back?
*shrug*
Mairead blinked but then shook her head "even in a herd i am not much part of it...i am always on the edges, because my personality." she rested against gidian. her neck close to his as she tried to not look at the torn muscle.
Brushfire trotted out of the forest to see that his herd was no where in sight.
Mint was though laying close to where he was barley breathing
Gidian glanced at the mare, flicking his tail. "I'm Gidian by the way." he muttered.
Brushfire caught sight of his mate, Mint, on the ground. He galloped over to where she was. "Mint? Mint, get up. Are you alright?" He neighed our quickly.
