El happily skipped down the sidewalk of the town he lived in. The small boy looked so happy, without a care in the whole wide world. He had shining blonde hair, golden eyes, a very pale complexion, a tall, slim build, and a shining smile adorning his visage. He wore tight, ripped up jeans, a worn yellow hoodie with the hood pulled down, and bright blue sneakers.
He hummed a cheerful tune as he approched the orphanage. Yeah, that's where he lived. That's where he was raised. I know what you're thinking; how could he be an orphan and still be oh so very cheerful? Well, my dear whoever, it's because he had hope. He had one shimmering shard of hope left, hope that someday he would be adopted by a wonderful family and have a wonderful life after that. He never thought about the possibility that he could die waiting, because if he did that, well, his shard of hope would shatter. But why shatter, really, that'd make a bunch of tiny speckles of shards of hope, so intead let's say his shard of hope would vanish quite completely.
Well, El skipped into his room. It wasn't really quite big, and it wasn't really quite, well, comfortable, but it was his room. Hey, he was glad he had a room at all. He sat on his bed and pulled a bar of chocolate out of his hoodie's pocket. He had gotten it free from the manager of the candy store because the man just felt so sorry for him. He smiled as he unwrapped it and started eating.
So, here's the deal: your char adopts El, I do not care at all what your char is like; male, female, mean, nice -- it's up to you.
So, the catch is, El has visions of the future, and has a variety of other magical powers.
